As a rule of thumb, don't reblog donation posts or people asking for donations unless they've been vetted and reblogged by Palestinian bloggers. We usually go to lengths to verify this shit because we know scammers have been faking to get people to send them money, using the urgency of our genocide as bait.
It's disgusting this is what we're dealing with, but people are losing money because of some truly evil people out there.
Accounts don't just randomly spring up on tumblr without gofundmes while asking for someone to help them create a campaign. Fuck out of here with that shit.

I fucking hate that the general response to RFK Jr's eugenist take on autistic people is "autistic people do pay taxes, autistic people do work, autistic people do date!"
Some autistic people don't and that shouldn't make them less worthy of life. Some autistic people do need constant help and support and that shouldn't make them less worthy of life.
Once again we're falling in the right wing trap of :
They make a hateful, fascist statement
Instead of focusing on the fact that it is hateful and fascist we try to show them that they are factually wrong
We throw our own allies and the most vulnerable of us under the bus in the process
We legitimise an only slightly less hateful, fascist view as we go
They have completed their goal of making us accept the still hateful, fascist second version, hurrah. What a victory.
Right now what we're getting to with that is that autistic people who can work and pay taxes are okay, and the others aren't. Fuck this shit.
Same thing happens with the people who are being deported ("they have a visa!", "they didn't even have a criminal record!" -> even if they didn't have a visa, even if they did have a criminal record, deporting them and detaining them in what's essentially a concentration camp wouldn't be okay, you absolute tools of fascism.)

very funny to me when people act like animal farm and 1984 are revolutionary anti government texts that the Powers That Be dont want you to read when they have literally been a part of every standard middle/highschool english lit cirriculum in the usa and beyond for decades. precisely because theyre such convenient primers to propagandize that Commies = Bad. the government is quite literally making kids read them

Dani Davis, a Walmart employee, says she was fired from her job of seven years after a harrowing encounter in the women’s restroom during a shift. Davis says a man entered the bathroom and yelled slurs, apparently mistaking her for a trans woman based solely on her height. She reported the incident to her immediate supervisor but was fired less than a week later, with Walmart citing a “security risk.”
This is the environment TERFs and transphobes and conservatives (but I repeat myself) have created: any woman can be subjected to fear and harassment for even the slightest perceived deficit of femininity and cowardly corporations will do nothing to protect the safety of their own employees. In fact, they'll just make the problem employee - the victim - disappear, just to be safe.
Allegedly, Walmart is now scrambling to rehire Ms. Davis since the story has gone viral and they're now facing down a slew of negative press and (I suspect) are fearful of a lawsuit.

I hate how much the feminism tag on here has been taken over and corrupted by TERFs.
It’s an actual radicalisation pipeline that immediately serves you the most vile transphobia the second you are supportive of women and speak out against misogyny. This leads to patriarchal, anti-feminist and reactionary thought being shown to women in a feminist coat of paint furthering the oppression of women out here in real life (including y‘all „biological“ women!!).
Sadly this problem is one of people living in a parallel world where facts and reality don’t exist and can only be mitigated by effective moderation of misinformation by staff. As long as TERFs can freely lie and cite debunked studies (sometimes by the study authors themselves like the crime study) things will get worse for everyone.
Remember this every time a new drama comes out about staff banning trans people (especially women) unfairly while TERFs regularly send death threats and organise harassment campaigns without any repercussions. Tumblr‘s staff and moderation team is not only favouring TERFs, it is actively trying to make more of them.
Little note for any TERFs reading: Your ignorance of your ideology furthering patriarchal ideas and the oppression of women is pathetic. Maybe think about why you‘re so obsessed with equating womanhood to baby making and being weaker. Realise that your „feminism“ can only work if you accept misogynistic ideas as inherently true and accurate.

In regards of the Trump government scraping all trans inclusion in its queer information portion of its websites I have made this thing. Spread the word. Don't let them pretend we never existed.

Stop erasing Matt Engarde's scars. I'm sick of people claiming that "His breakdown didn't leave a scars, his scar must have been made by something other than those scratches". No. The marks he makes on himself during his breakdown are all the same shape as his first scar, and the one he makes on his left eye is even a carbon copy. Canonically, after 2-4, Matt Engarde has self-mutilation scars all over his face. And I'm sorry if that spoils his "soft little boy UWU" look for you, but there it is.
So if you want to draw him after his breakdown and without scars, be honest with yourself. Say "I find people with self-mutilation scars so ugly that I can't even stand that a character I love has them" and stop hiding behind false excuses.

“The only time a lawyer can cry is when it’s all over” | The real meaning behind this quote and why it means so much to me <3
I made another analysis post of sorts because this is something that bugs me a lot. Over the years, I’ve seen so many people treat this quote as something equivalent to saying “you’re not allowed to cry, ever” when that’s just not true! Lemme explain why.
What it’s supposed to mean is that as a lawyer, you’re not supposed to get emotionally invested in a case. You can’t discover the harsh truth if you let your emotions get in the way. Mia resonated with the meaning of Diego’s words which is why she clung to them so tightly, and she passed it onto Phoenix who then passed it onto Apollo and Athena.
It really irks me that so many people perceive this advice as “toxic” simply because Diego didn’t want Mia to cry at that moment. It also hurts me that the fandom treats it as if Diego started a “manipulative” trend. Like I’m sorry, but he never said that crying is weak. He says, “you can’t cry yet.” Not “you can’t cry, period.” There were two points Diego wanted to get across to her:
1: He doesn’t want Mia to give up.
2: There is always time to cry outside the courtroom.
It obviously hurt him deeply when he saw Mia so defeated. When Mia heaped all the blame onto herself, and was about to give up everything, Diego wanted to reassure her that “it’s not over yet.” The thing about crying is all metaphorical, he doesn’t literally mean you can only cry when it’s all over. It’s simply a metaphor to reassure her that she should keep pressing forward no matter how painful it is. Diego always speaks in metaphors, so why wouldn’t this important quote also be one too? You shouldn’t take everything he says so literally.
Of course, Diego is not the kind of person to show his true emotions at all. I believe it’s the result of dealing with too many harsh truths in his life. Even when he wants to show he’s emotionally in pain, he ends up physically hurting himself by crushing a mug in his hand. Yet he still smiles when doing so. He’s so used to smiling through pain that he forgot how to express himself in a healthy way. Due to his behaviour, I can assume he’s already been through something traumatic several times as a lawyer. Something that the player never finds out.
Now just because he has that flaw, doesn’t mean he’s trying to make Mia do the same. It was a moment of reassurance that he expressed based on his own experience. What Mia picks up from it, is up to her. In fact, she has her own way of saying his advice: “A lawyer is someone who smiles no matter how bad it gets.” She understood the meaning of his words, but she changed crying into smiling, to put a more positive spin on it. Then she went on to say “You can’t smile at the end if you haven’t been smiling the whole way there.” Again, this is specifically advice for a lawyer. This doesn’t apply to her personal life. It’s her own way of saying “never give up, even if it’s bad.” She’s took a liking to speaking in metaphors.
Phoenix sticks by her words just like how Mia stuck to Diego’s. Phoenix is a lot like Mia, so his advice doesn’t really change from hers. But what he adds to this is the gambling aspect. Phoenix always won in poker because he’s good at keeping a good poker face. I believe it’s because of Mia’s advice that he managed to use that skill so well in the first place. I absolutely love the way this quote evolves over time, and it shows how it all links back to Diego; making him a very important character in my book.
Another aspect that I like is how Godot basically had to fight against his own advice. With him being so lost without Mia, he was forced to put his own beliefs to the test. Yet, in that same light, he was saved by it; because Phoenix saved him. Phoenix only managed to save Diego because he followed Mia’s advice, who learned it from Diego. I love how it all came full circle.
As Godot, he (ironically) allowed his feelings to get in the way of the truth. This is something Diego taught himself not to do. He couldn’t trust in the (w)right person because he thought it was all over. Phoenix proved him wrong by following Mia’s advice. At that moment, Diego/Godot learned a valuable lesson.
Something else I’d like to add, even though these characters don’t relate to Diego at all, is something that Tyrell Badd says in aai1. When Gumshoe was a rookie, he told him something along the lines of “a detective should never get emotionally involved in a case.” To me, it has the exact same meaning as “the only time a lawyer can cry is when it’s all over.” However, I don’t see anyone call Badd’s advice toxic.
Another interesting thing I’ve noticed is that when Diego does say this quote, he’s always bleeding. He’s only ever said this two times, yet it stuck throughout the entire series. Once in Turnabout Beginnings, and the other time was when it was actually all over. Mia and Diego clearly needed each other in order for them to properly express themselves. When they were torn apart, they had difficulty asking for help. Never separate the poor meow meows. <3
Anyway, I think that’s all I wanted to say. Hopefully I’ll be able to see more people appreciate the real meaning behind Diego’s words now. 🥺🙏
My takeaway from this is: “Express your feelings but don’t let them get in the way.” Honestly, I think that should become Athena’s advice for aa7. 🥰

The Reality of My Life in South Sudan as a Trans Refugee
In South Sudan, being LGBTQ+ is not just frowned upon it is dangerous. I live in constant fear of being attacked, harassed, or even arrested simply for being who I am. The discrimination I face makes it nearly impossible to find work, secure housing, or access medical care.
I have no access to the healthcare I
desperately need, including hormone therapy or basic medical treatment. Many hospitals and clinics refuse to treat people like me, and I can not afford private care. Without medication, my physical and mental health are deteriorating, and I feel hopeless.
Surviving each day is a challenge. I struggle to find food, shelter, and safety. Many people refuse to help me because of who I am. The isolation and constant fear are overwhelming.
A Cry for Help ,I am reaching out for assistance any kind of support that can help me survive. I need Safe shelter where I won’t be harmed for my identity,Food and basic necessities to stay healthy and alive, Medical care and medication to address my urgent health needs, Legal or financial assistance to help me find a way out of this dangerous situation.
Connections to LGBTQ+ organizations that can support me in finding safety and resources.
If you or any organization can help me, please reach out. I am in desperate need of assistance to escape this life-threatening situation. No one should have to live in fear simply for existing.
Please, if you can help or connect me to someone who can, I would be forever grateful.
