Jamaica Journeys // How to get around when visiting Jamaica

The change of seasons bring forth metamorphosis in our lifetime
Sometimes we lose what was most valuable to us which is quite tragic
And sometimes we gain a piece of something else that isn’t permanent.
A constant cycle that repeats itself until we become stronger
Will continue to blow its forceful winds until we are satisfied.
But will we ever be satisfied? There’s always something that disrupts
The peace and sanity that we once found and dwelled in its comfort.
Gray skies remind us of the past and all that we’ve been through
And suddenly a blizzard engulfs our heart and leaves us bare and fragile.
What happens next? The vicious cycle continues, as there’s no escape
Tearing us apart each time and taking pieces of our beings.
But there will come a time when we remember what we’re living for
Whether it be through a person, a memory or a vivid experience.
The things we hold on to deep within our souls can keep us craving more
An insatiable desire, which keeps us moving forward and into the storm.
We wear the scars on our skin to show how much we have endured
And for us to remember.
