I’ve been agonizing for ages on how to design Darius’ mother, and thanks to KookyChicken and Farorest for inspiration, HIS MOTHER LIVES! Her name is Orwellia Athens, but is most well-known by her alias, Holly Hock. She’s a dry, straight-to-the-point kind of person, and she doesn’t really entertain fanciful ideas or dreams. She’s cynical and a “realist”, but nonetheless, she will offer an endless supply of advice for those who’ve found themselves at rock bottom, those who are desperate and depressed. While she is generally humorless, her attempts at jokes come across as snide insults. She doesn’t have many close friends. She speaks with a brooklyn accent, and while her general personality is off-putting for most folks, she can be fairly warm to people she likes. She wears fake jewelry and smokes like a train. She has only one son, Darius, whom she raised on her own. Her parenting methods were minimum-effort, and she never sugar-coated anything for her son, what would be the point of that? He’ll figure out how hard life is anyways. And he did as they lived in poverty for most of his life. Despite her stony face, she put everything she had into raising her son, he’d get the closest spot to the heater, he’d get more blankets, he got the softest/cleanest pillows, he got larger food portions and she’d scrape together whatever money she had to buy him new shoes. She loves her son very much. But, uh, yeah! this is a character I’ve been working on for the last week or so. I actually really like her so I hope y'all do too!! Holly is mine! C:

I’ve been wanting to experiment with her eyes. I also changed their colour slightly, from brown to amber. So, the size of her pupils are dictated by the amount of light in the area (duh). She won’t need sunglasses, it’s okay.

Some self-indulgent AU children for Shane and Halley. Some Pevit/Sun Mouse/Lombax babs named after food lol their ages aren’t consistent to their actual birth order, so, uh, oops lol The oldest is Cookie, the girl in the middle Chip, on the right, is supposed to be the middlest child and Graham, on the left, is the youngest. The characters are mine ~

I decided to use Solstice for a trade so I made some outfits for her! I wasn’t sure which skirt/blouse color scheme I liked best so I did two versions! Plus a classic black dress cause that’s an important part of a good wardrobe.

idk if you guys remember her from this lil pic But she has a name and a basic idea for her :’ D Her name is Mercedes Gomez, and she’s a Captain of a small correspondence ship, Starship Destiny. She has a bunch of siblings including Barry! She also has a girlfriend, who is a ground operations specialist. They love each other very much.
