it feels like people only care about unika in the context of shipping and sex appeal. is it because shes a girl? i don't know, but it certainly feels like it.

its always "uniburi this," "uniburi that" but i don't see people exploring her as a character individually. what about her dealing with the guilt of what she's done? learning to become her own person? what about time with her family? dealing with the trauma nerville gave her?? i see so little people actually exploring these concepts on their own it FRUSTRATES me. little to nobody treats her like her own character, it's just her in the context of others. and don't get me started on the sexualization of her. it's weird. dare i say, if people did this to sin, people would be weirded out? but they aren't with unika. nobody gives a fuck when it comes to her treatment as a character.

i was just thinking about it but does anyone else feel like a lot of bridget fandom shit is kinda weird and fetishizey. like not to get on someone for liking a character (i like her enough myself), or even finding for her hot, but like sometimes it feels a little icky. i could also just be stupid tho
