could you explain a bit about the autodolls? I'm so curious what's up with them! are they ghosts uploaded to robots?

Without divulging too much (I’m keeping some ideas a secret for later projects) the autodolls are empty simulacra, abandoned from an age gone by.

The main characters are actually formerly unmoored spirits that haunt them as a means of self-embodiment.

Yes, I have! Signalis is one of my favourite games from the last few years, and I own a physical box copy, which sits on my shelf next to a box copy of Citizen Sleeper (also a fantastic game)! The lenticular Ariane/Alina photo is really cool.
