Sky kids are from @pearl-necklac and the lovely @primrosechronicles , who made a beautiful fic about Siffrin and Performance Guide for this AU!

I'm not normal about these 2 omgggggg. For those who don't know seasonal guides here becomes like godparents of kids born during their season, and I think Siffrin was one of those kids who then kept the love for the performance crew and acting in general.(just bc you were born during a certain season it doesn't mean you have to follow its theme later in life) and nothing these 2 are so silly they are the equivalent of the Peter B. Parker and Miles Morales meme

Day 10 of drawing with the left hand: If the characters weren't hard enough I knew I have made my life 300% times harder now that i have to draw those in every panel as well

BUT WHO CARES CAUSE CAPE TIME! Isa cape is inspired by warrior of love and mindful miner, Mirabelle cape is inspired by troupe juggler, shushing light scholar and Pink Bloom, while Odile one s inspired by bumbling boatswine!

AND YES SIF HAS SOME STRANGE FEELINGS SEEING HIS BOYFRIEND WITH CAPE FROM HIS CULTURE

And Bonnie CANONICALLY ONLY run in the naruto chibi run mode now. They are also a Kalimba / Handpan kid, FIGHT ME!

Actually, which instruments you guys think the rest of the family play? My headcanons are:

Siffrin: Ocarina ( I headcanon they had the Manta Ocarina as a child but he kept playing with a normal ocarina after The Wish)

Odile: Cello

Mira: piano

Isafrin nation how we feeling tonight? So yeah my boy still has some intrusive thoughts but luckily he has an amazing family beside them.

Also the "you almost drrowned" thing is something that happened PRE-AU that maybe one day I'll do an animatic about it.

For today you get to see only Bonnie new cape! The design is inspired by beach pareos, with a base cut from moths capes! Next chapter we get to see the other's cape as well!

So, first off, if you see any stilistic changes, that's cause yesterday I broke my right arm in a car accident and since i'm right handed everything you see was sketched, drawn and coloured with my left index. Also drawing with one finger is so freaking slow so updates might slow down since my entire arm/wrist will be in a cast for the next month.

Second, thank you @that-sky-kid & @potat-soop for their sky kid submission! Since you both had similar outifit I thought of making you 2 friends in the AU!

MY BABY BIRD CAN HONK! As @lone-owl-s-nest also headcanoned, Siffrin call is the bird one!! And for our convenience I made that wish creatures can be called by anyone, as long as they recognize the call or someone imitate the sound (or the intensity)

YEAH GIRL TELL HIM! (Also of course grandpa would let them go he’s just too soft but he gets worried for the babies as well)

I’m assuming the Country was a rather close one since NO ONE outside those who once lived in had any knowledge about their colture of the stars, not even the very basics. No one knew about their belief, the fact that the dots in the night sky are called stars, or their use of craft in their everyday life, even in their clothes (that’s something that no one else used even in the past in the other parts of the world it seems). This lack of knowledge can’t be because of the wish, since Siffrin remembers them perfectly.

So it would make sense that maybe only the more external part of the island was open to traders, merchants that sailed there.

ISAT Sky Cotl AU Headcanons Masterlist

About the Light /Wishcraft

Everything that is triggered originally in SKy in the AU is triggered by wish craft, which is a power that comes directly from the stars.

The island is filled with mechanism that recognize wish craft users and are modelled based on constellations

Most emotes are the equivalent of different forms of advanced craft hand signs, and each can be used like in Sky to activate certain doors (or to be able to call for creatures, or do other stuff like floating etc...)

There's a high concentration of star (wish) magic at the highest point of the Kingdom (where the eye of eden is currently) and if the habitant get's too far away from the island they wont be able to use some of their original abilities derivated from them (like for example they can't regenerate their wing levels)

About the habitant of the Island

Everyone is born naturally, but they all come from a line of people who were moslty made of stardust

The different seasons are periods of time like the chinese years, and are used as a reference for when people were born or even occurred.

People wear pendants with the season symbol they were born in. The season you were born in doesn't necessarily reflect your personality but can influence your passion

Every year, on the birthday of each sky kid, they meditate at the temple of the prince to visit Orbit and gain more power from the stars. They then come back with new "wings" every time. All kids do it with their parents or guardians until the age of 17th, which is the mark of them gaining their 6th wing wedge. From then on, they are officially considered an adult and can fly to orbit by themself. (I'm dividing the sky levels in half, since no one could live up to 200 years, so 4 wings is 5 y/o, 5 wings is 10 y/o, 6 wings is 17/18 y/o, 7 wings is 27 y/o, etc…)

People can decide to follow one of the Elders based on what they want to do in life/ which elder they are closer to (Dawn elder teaches navigation throught the stars, Forest elder teaches creativity and architecture, Valley twins trains your phisical ability and the Vault elder teaches you about the more advanced crafts). After they succeded in all the quests and finished their studies, they are blessed by the elders (which is the equivalent of finish one of the constellations, so you get the same gifts. Yes, the Valley Twin gift is literally them just allowing you to copy their haircut)

Moths are the equivalent of very young kids who still haven’t figured out which kind of person they want to be, which Elder they prefer to follow.

Elders are as big as they are for the same reason of the King in ISAT, the abnormal amount of craft they use is reflected in a collateral effect in their body

About their colture

Paper boats are rituals they used to send messages and wish anonimously, and are crafted so they can't get wet in the water

All capes are crafted so that you are always not too cold or too hot regardless of the climate

Creatures such butterflies, manta, fish and bird all are made of stardust as well, and recognize sky people as one of them and are able to charge them like in Sky

Their language is written with an alphabeth based on constellation shapes

SInce constellations are seasonal you would end up having different events based on the constellation they are under at the moment (days of nature, days of color, days of love, days of fortune)

About Siffrin

lived on the more outside part of the island, in the towns over the black sand beach (isle of dawn) which is the only part of the Kingdom open to visitors, travellers, traders, merchants.

Siffrin was born during the season of Performance and the Performance Guide was one of their first childhood presence during his first years. He continued to be passionated by acting even though he didn't live in Valley, but he and their parent still visited the Village Theather occasionaly to see some of their spectacle.

Had their cape made by his mother as custom, and before coming back to the island could never understand why it was so important that he should always wear it.

Siffrin before the events in the game always felt weird when it rained, was like slowed down and tired and sleepy. (by @forwonderfulpeople)

His call is the bird one (by @lone-owl-s-nest )

About The Wish (AKA The Eye of Eden)

The wish created a cataclysm so big people, not even Elders, can rememeber which was the original wish that caused it.

it made dissapear all people who were on the island, leaving only a spark of their memory

The Wish make you both forget and lose your wish craft power.

Bro can we just stay in Orbit forever? Can we like? Can we like just chill here? For a while? The sky is so prettyyyy and the colors are so niceeee.

Also BABY MOTH SIF FLASHBACKS my beloved got all their memories back.

So for anyone who might not have got it. Siffrin got forgotten by all but by the King, who's though dead, rip. So this is how Siffrin still remembered some parts of himself in the void.

The fam though, what they were remembering was Loop, or the Siffrin of Loop timeline, since they still exsist and for the Universe they are the same person at their core (that's why they remember them WITH the hat, even though Siffrin lost it at the end of ISAT)

So when they and the islanders made the wish, Loop literally started to just glow and was yeeted into space along the light creatures. They reluclantly saved Sif and now we are here.

SO YEAH. LOOP LITERALLY SAVED THE DAY (but got Eden-ed without consent)

After the Eye/Wish got destroyed of course all memories got released and came back to everyone.

I think one interesting thing to think about is that, since the more wish craft you have in the island the more your skin color gets progressively darker and small stars starts to glow, Siffrin would right now be kind of similar to Loop if he was-well- naked right now. like at least his arms are now like Loop (of course they are much more powerful in terms of wishcraft)

Anyway, I love Siffrin, I love Loop, and I love Orbit, this one is easily in the top 5 chapters so far.

Lastly, the sky kid appearance of this chapter is... me! that's right, it took 850 panels for me to grow the guts to put MY own skykid in MY own story

The war is over. The sound of victory rings in the air!

This chapter was my main block for so many reason, but mostly for the colors. So many areas with different palettes and it felt quite overwhelming. Which honestly, it was, this took quite a while. I can’t find shortcuts anymore. EVERY character now has EVERY color visible. Luckily the next 4/5 chapters will be alright.
