reasons why you're waking up in your cr ,
if it's not happening, it's because you're still treating the 3d like it's anything but your own assumption reflecting back to you. still assuming lack while saying abundance. still looking for signs instead of stepping into the thing as if it's already yours.
nothing external needs to change. your state does. and that can happen in one second, in one thought.
you keep checking . . . ౨ৎ the second you look over your shoulder to see if it worked, you're signalling it hasn't. assumption doesn't need confirmation. assumption doesn't peek. ꒰ what to do , stop asking. stop waiting. decide it's done and get on with your life. keep walking.
subconscious doubts . . . ౨ৎ somewhere deep, under the clean sentences you say out loud, there's a voice. 'what if it's not real?' 'what if i'm not good enough?' it camps out in the marrow, slowing you down before you ever start. ꒰ what to do , rewire yourself. not once, not wistfully. daily, methodically. affirm it until it's more instinct than wish.
overthinking the methods . . . ౨ৎ you're not assembling a bomb. you're not cracking the human genome. shifting isn't method worship. it's assumption. ꒰ what to do , pick what feels natural. raven, lullaby, drift, whatever stops the noise. trust the simplicity. complexity is a coffin.
intellectualising it to death . . . ౨ৎ you read every shifting post, watched every youtube guide, diagrammed every method. ꒰ what to do , get out of your head and into your body. shifting is sensation before it's strategy.
fear of success or change . . . ౨ৎ self-sabotage wears a hundred faces. sometimes it's something that says you're safer in longing than in arrival. the mind clings to its ruins because they are familiar. ꒰ what to do , dig out the rot. write out your fears like you're testifying. remind yourself that change is not exile. you're allowed to cross thresholds.
you want it to feel like magic . . . ౨ৎ you expect fireworks. epiphanies. sensations. if it doesn't sparkle, you think it didn't happen. ꒰ what to do , stop chasing signs. reality shifts quiet. like changing the channel. no drama, just difference.
impatience . . . ౨ৎ you feel ready. you want it yesterday. but checking the oven every two minutes doesn't bake the cake faster. it breaks the heat. ꒰ what to do , behave as if it's already yours. embody the arrival. impatience is a leak, seal it.
you think there's a gap . . . ౨ৎ a gap between you and your desire. between thought and result. between you and your dr. ꒰ what to do , there is no gap. the second you decided, it existed. the delay's a hallucination.
comparing yourself to others . . . ౨ৎ watching other shifters score touchdowns doesn't mean you're fumbling. you're running a different play entirely. ꒰ what to do , stay on your field. trust your timeline. celebrate every inch forward like you invented it.

Shifting has made me realize how much I really want to live. I actually want to do so much. I want to know worlds and instruments and languages and people and careers. I want to experience everything over and over and over again
And after all, it's really possible

things that won't stop you from shifting
꒰ putting your dr on a pedestal , does not exist. it is not some glass castle suspended in the ether. it is a place like any other, as accessible as a room you haven’t walked into yet.
꒰ fantasising about your dr , does not matter. your brain is not a courtroom and you are not on trial for thought crimes. imagining a place does not exile you from it.
꒰ not knowing everything about your dr , won't impact. you do not need to be a historian of your own life. you do not need to have memorised the census records and economic structures of a world you are simply in.
꒰ being too attached to your dr , does not ruin it. urgency does not dismantle possibility. the sky does not fold in on itself every time someone desperately wants rain.
꒰ not being "calm enough" , no one is breathing monkishly through their nose 24/7. you are not required to be an unmoved river stone. people shift after a long day at work. people shift mid-existential crisis. it is not yoga, it is not meditation, it is a thing that happens when it happens.
꒰ doubting yourself from time to time , irrelevant. you do not need to pass a faith test. you do not need to be baptised in unwavering conviction. you just need to assume. doubt is a background noise, not a locked door.
꒰ external validation , unnecessary. your reality is not waiting for someone else to confirm its legitimacy. you do not need a jury of peers nodding solemnly at your experiences. this is not an academic dissertation. you do not need footnotes and sources and a professor’s approval.
꒰ "trying too hard" , not a thing. effort does not push it further away. want does not make it shy away. this is not an uncatchable fish. this is not a paradox where wanting something too much means you will never have it.
꒰ failing to shift multiple times , irrelevant. past attempts do not predict future outcomes. you are not an athlete counting losses. you are not a gambler on a losing streak. every attempt is new. every moment is unburdened by the weight of the last one.
꒰ an inconsistent sleep schedule , doesn’t matter. you are not being graded on your circadian rhythm. shifting does not belong exclusively to people with 8 hours of uninterrupted rem.
꒰ using multiple shifting methods , neutral. you are not hexing yourself by switching it up. they are not magic spells, they are just tools. they are ways to organise your approach, not laws of the universe.
꒰ shifting while sick or in pain , possible. you do not need to be in peak physical condition. you are not signing up for a marathon, you are existing. bodies exist in all states. you are allowed to exist in all states.
꒰ not “feeling close” to shifting , doesn’t mean anything. shifting is not a feeling to be unlocked. you do not need to sense it coming like a change in the weather. it does not always announce itself.
꒰ having trouble visualising , won’t stop you. not everyone sees things like a movie in their head. imagination is not just images. it’s thoughts, impressions, instincts. a blind person can shift. a person with aphantasia can shift.
꒰ not affirming constantly , does not matter. you do not need to chant like a monk or plead sweet nothings into the void 24/7.
꒰ being distracted mid-shifting attempt , not fatal. you are not required to have monk-like focus. people shift thinking about their homework. people shift thinking about dinner. people shift thinking about absolutely nothing at all.
꒰ not having a specific shifting method , does not stop you. people shift lying down. people shift sitting up. people shift standing. people shift in moving cars. you do not need a formula to do something natural.

⋆·˚ ༘ * screen detox + daily meditation

recently, ive seen a lot of people in the community say that meditating everyday can help quicken your shifting progress, and that it (for them at least) helped them see more results during their methods and attempts. they say it helps condition your mind and subconscious, helps you get into that relaxed state much quicker, etc etc etc.... and i definitely believe this, the problem that i have, and im sure a lot of you may too, is that my attention span is so horrific i can't focus on meditating for any longer than five minutes.
it's frustrating. things like tiktok and shorts have made it so that focusing on something for more than 10 minutes is impossible. when we watch tv or a movie we're on our phones, when we cook we may have a podcast or youtube video playing. we aren't used to being bored, or the quiet of our own minds. and i think that for a lot of us it's what's holding us back in our journey.
so what can we do to fix it?
well, one of the hosts on a podcast i listen to (the ben and emil show, it's really good id recommend) talked in a recent episode about how he did a screen detox to help his attention span. he said he noticed that once he cut out the social media and nonsense from his life, he noticed significant changes. one being, that he had more ideas. suddenly, he felt more creative and inspired. so what if we did this to help with shifting? not only would it help with focusing on meditating for longer than 10 minutes, but maybe it'll open your mind a bit more?
ive decided to test it. sometime next week, probably sunday, im going to do a 30 day challenge.
i truly think this will, at the very least, push me further a long in my progress and journey as a shifter.
im going to remove short form content from my life, as well as the distractions i use to fill the silence. no tiktok, twitter or youtube. i will stick to informative podcasts and audiobooks while im at work. i'll read more in my free time. and, everyday i will mediate, increasing the amount of time i do it as i go on.
at the end, i'll report back to this post and update you all (if you're interested) on my progress and where i am at mentally.
wish me luck !!

sometimes i feel like saying "i will shift" or "i will shift soon" in your manifestations is too vague. soon is subjective, and yeah, you're gonna shift you do it all the time but when exactly will you be aware of the shift? who knows...
so instead im doing this thing where i decide when i am going to shift. for example, i plan on shifting tomorrow (monday) when i get home from work. so instead of "i will shift" on its own, i say "i will shift monday". feels more specific.
just getting silly but i have a strong feeling this will work for me (it will, ive literally decided that it will).

let it come to you.
don't force it, let it come to you.
it's already yours, so don't force it and let it come to you.
it's going to happen, it's inevitable. and it's already yours. so don't force it. let it come to you.
