daphne grew up in the small town of coolsville, ohio, where the most exciting thing to do was catch a late-night horror flick at the local movie theater. her family was well-off enough to afford a nanny, so without her parents around much, daphne felt very alone. most of her childhood consisted of private music lessons, gymnastics, and watching countless episodes of project runway.

her love of fashion was evident from a young age. she was always the most popular and well-dressed girl at school, which made her choice of friends a mystery to people. she bonded with the nerdy outcasts of coolsville high, sharing their love for all things spooky and paranormal.

while each member of the group had a specific role they excelled in, daphne never saw herself as “amazing” at anything. she was more of a do-it-all kind of girl. sometimes she was the only thing holding the group together, being the voice of reason in times of turmoil. other times, she kept them afloat financially, using her parents’ money to pay for gas, tools, or anything else they might need.

now in a new setting, she’s enrolled at london college and has plans to attend design school in the future.

caitlyn was born into a life of wealth and privilege. her parents, cassandra and tobias kiramman, were two of piltover’s most influential minds. they raised their daughter to have confidence and a strong moral compass, and to not be seduced by the lavish culture of piltover’s eilte. most would sell you out for the smallest smidgen of power, so it was better to remain honest and kindhearted no matter what.

despite having every amenity at her fingertips, caitlyn preferred her time in the wilderness over extravagant galas and cocktail parties. she could hit the bullseye on a target from seventy meters away by the time she turned eight years old, or track a deer through the thick forest just after sundown.

caitlyn spent several years honing her craft, ultimately leading her into the world of police work. her parents kept her on a short leash to protect her, striking an agreement with the chief of police to only allow her on patrols. the majority of her coworkers didn’t take her seriously either, believing she didn’t have what it took to succeed on the force.

caitlyn allowed their doubts to fuel her. she began following her own leads, drawing up diagrams on her bedroom walls. her exploits led her to zaun, where she discovered how dreadful life was for the people of the undercity. it opened her eyes to the true injustices its citizens faced every day, and she made it her mission to help them in any way she could.

since coming to london, caitlyn has joined the police force with a new sense of purpose. she’s also started studying law in her spare time in hopes of one day changing the justice system from within.

jason grew up on the crime-infested streets of gotham city. he was the son of blue-collar criminal willis todd and his wife, catherine. when jason was eight, his father was incarcerated and eventually killed in prison by one of two-face’s henchmen. this left young jason alone to tend to his ailing mother, who’d become dependent on drugs. despite his best efforts to help combat her addiction, she died a few years later from an overdose.

now on his own, jason turned to a life of petty crime to get by. he began stealing car parts to earn cash and sought refuge in his family’s old apartment building in park row. one fateful night, he was caught by batman trying to steal the tires off the batmobile. bruce saw a boy in need of shelter and guidance and took him on as his new protégé. 

as much as jason appreciated bruce for his kindness, donning the cape of robin brought about several complications to their relationship. jason was excessively violent and hostile when it came to fighting criminals, often budding heads with bruce for his ideals.

the fine line he walked between honoring bruce’s wishes and serving his own interests came to an abrupt end the night jason was captured by the joker. after brutally beating him within an inch of his life with a crowbar, the joker locked him in a warehouse with a bomb set to go off. batman tried to save him but the building exploded before he could get to the boy in time.

jason was resurrected by talia al ghul after being placed in the lazarus pit. disoriented and confused, he spent the next few years piecing his life back together while training with the league of assassins. he returned to gotham under the alias of red hood, intent on avenging his death by ridding the city of organized crime.

coming to london has given jason the chance at a clean slate. he’s taken a position at the community center teaching self-defense classes, as well as helping kids with delinquent behavior find an outlet for their rage. in his spare time, he’s responsible for the upkeep of a run-down boxing gym located in camden, where he can often be found blowing off steam.

disclaimer : jason’s exposure to the lazarus pit has severely affected his mental state and amplified his feelings of anger and isolation. he suffers from ptsd in light of the trauma inflicted upon him by the joker, while his motivation stems from a desire to defend others from corruption.
