I DID IT! I’M FREE!!!!!! Term finally finished an I survived! :DDDD Anyway, I’m going back home today so I’ll be spending all day in trains, airports and planes, which means no replies until later tonight (if I have the energy) or most probably tomorrow~ But I’m free~~~ I’m so happy!!!

Alexis continued doodling on the parchment, which incidentally happened to be her notes from her History of Magic lesson earlier that day. All the initials had been decorated and now they didn't look like letters anymore, but instead like little drawings at the beginning of each paragraph. It looked like one of those old books in which each capital letter was a masterpiece and Alex smiled at the thought of them. 

She was deeply engrossed in her doodling and it wasn't until the classmate sitting right next to her prodded her that she realized someone had been trying to get her attention. Looking up, she saw Junhoe mouthing at her but, unfortunately, Alex had never been good at mouth reading. Just before she was going to ask the boy what exactly was he saying, he walked over to her and Alex looked at him with a surprised expression. 

"Hey Junhoe. How's your potion going?" She asked sweetly, a soft smile on her face. She knew the boy was fairly good at potions and she didn't really expect him to have any problems with it.

Ridiculous. Junhoe stared down in utter disgust at his creation, which was now shifting from a hideous shade of maroon to something resembling vomit. It even had a bad sense of color coordination, how dare it– he could try changing its appearance, but the nasty effect would still rear its ugly head when it would be time to grade the project…

Sighing slowly in an attempt to contain his frustration, he finally opened his book and glanced around at the other students. Several were failing as miserably as he was and, thinking twice, it was all rather shameful. He had passed his O.W.L.’s Potion exam with a relevantly high mark ( for someone with as little interest in the subject as he had ), and in that very exam, he had perfectly described the procedure to obtain Polyjuice Potion. Perhaps this had been his error- believing that he knew the topic well enough to cast aside his textbook.

Junhoe carefully prodded the cauldron with his wand, causing it to bubble disagreeably. He didn’t have high hopes in managing to save it– although, and his expression noticeably lightened as he started examining the students around him further, perhaps someone else did. His gaze halted on Alexis. She had finished and seemed distracted– a glance at her cauldron and Junhoe could tell all was well.

"Hey– " He raised his voice enough to reach the girl, eyebrows arched high as he flicked his wrist a few times to catch her attention. When he was sure she had noticed, he silently mouthed a request for help, gesturing towards his book. Before she could have the chance to refuse, the male was already picking up his tome and walking to her.

The grin on Alex's face didn't disappear as the minutes went by, if only it just grew wider and wider. A giggle left her mouth as the other made the balloon explode, the paint spraying both the canvas and themselves. With a determined look in her eyes, Alexis faced the art instalment as she thought of what spell to use. After a few seconds, a smile spread across her face and the spell left her mouth. "Bombarda!" She said and, barely a moment later, a balloon full of bright green paint exploded, rendering the canvas, the room and the two girls covered looking a pretty, fluorescent green. A loud laugh left Alex's mouth and she turned to look at the other girl. "I love this!"

Apple nodded her head quickly to the girls words and twirled her wand around, she picked a paint color and gave Alex another sly grin. “That should be a good amount of time!” There was a happy chirp along with her voice and she twirled the wand around some more, once she thought of a spell she aimed and said it, for a moment there was silence as the spell hit the mark and the thing exploded, bright red paint started to splat everywhere and she chuckled turning to Alex with a happy buzz.

"Now you~" She ready to do this.

(not) anyone can cook || asf&kms

Alexis walked out of the girl's dormitory and into the Ravenclaw common room, a little bag hanging from her shoulder. The contents of the bag weren't many, just an apron Alex had made herself and a book with cooking recipes she had collected over the years. Her eyes scanned around the big room, but she couldn't see the boy she was looking for. With a sigh, she threw herself on one of the empty armchairs around the room, waiting for the boy to appear. He better not be late, I told the elfs we would be there in ten minutes, she mused as she looked around with a soft pout. 

She didn't have to wait long and, after a few moments, a boy, barely taller than Alex herself, walked out of the boy's dormitory. With a wide grin, Alex bounced up to him. "Minseok! Ready?" She said excitedly. "I can't wait for you to try my carrot cake, my dad says it's the best in the world." Although he's the only one, most people don't really want to try my dishes, she finished in her head. She had always found it strange how most people refused to try anything she cooked, when according to her father and, in some cases, her mother, she was an excellent cook.

Alexis couldn't believe the sight before her eyes, but she wouldn't deny that it made her immensely happy. She couldn't keep the wide grin away from her face as she looked at the girl who had been her lovely childhood friend. As she walked out of the Great Hall and the other linked their arms, she let out a chuckle of amazement, still not fully believing that after all this time they had finally meet again. "Yes! There are so many things you need to tell me!" She said excitedly, leading their steps towards the grounds outside the castle. "Oh my god, we were! How long ago was that again?"

"First of all, when did you get here? I though you were studying at Beauxbatons." She asked with a curious look, eyes wide as she glanced sideways at the other girl. She walked towards the lake, one of her favourites spots in the grounds, where she was sure they would find a tree under which to sit and reminisce old times. She couldn't wait to hear everything about the other girl's life since they last had seen each other, a long six years ago.

She could see that the other girl was a Gryffindor and she was slightly surprised by it. She wouldn't deny that the girl was brave, but the Naeun she had known wasn't exactly the loud, cheerful and slightly arrogant character that you would expect from a Gryffindor. Then again, Alex wasn't the perfectionist, selfish and obsessed with grades personality that most people seemed to expect from Ravenclaw, so she didn't really give it much thought.

Naeun couldn’t help but smile widely at the girl in front of her, she has grown beautifully she would say. When it was told to her that Alexis lost completely contact with her, she stayed in her room for a few days out of sadness. Naeun always remembered Alexis as the loveliest person and a good friend of her. Which was rare for the female due of how her awkward nature always interfered when it came to socializing. The few reasons why Naeun was grateful to Alexis to not have gave up seeing such shy and uptight girl such as herself. Though, it surprised her that they would meet here. Hogwarts, a new environment for her.

The shriek taking her completely by surprise as the other threw her arms against her. In that moment, Naeun uptight and shyness vanished on the air as she embraces her tightly back. A wide grin on her youthful features, seeing a few surprised expression. The sudden throw of her question caught her off guard but she simply laughed at them. “Wait a minute, if you throw me so much questions at the same time. I won’t be able to answer either of them.” Her response coming out with a teasing tone before being hugged again. Naeun simply patted Alexis’s back.

Backing away from her, “Sure, lets go somewhere else and let the time taken go back.” Naeun trailing behind her before she hooked her arm with the other boldly. That was weird from her, especially she wasn’t the touchy one. “I have to say that…it’s been awhile since we have seen each other. I mean, we were this little when we last saw each other.” Her fingers showing a small gap between them as a giggle followed up.
