A scene of the airport marks the temporary end of this series of shots I took in the DC area around 50 years ago posted as a souvenir of my arrival in 1970 as a sometime resident (and frequent visitor when not resident) of the national capital area. I have a number of additional DC area photos waiting to be scanned, and I plan to resume the series sometime in the not too distant future. For now goodbye to the DC area of a half century ago
