Announcing the Bechloe Week 2022 Prompts!!

After an insane 120+ prompt submissions and a ton of votes, the final prompts have been chosen! There was a top ten, so Bechloe Week is going to get an extra day (starting on Sunday the 21st instead of the Monday), and the final weekend will have two prompts each day, that you can choose to do one, or both prompts if you wanted!

The prompts and dates are as follows:

Sunday, August 21st: Sneaking around

Monday, August 22nd: “Chloe would never allow that”

Tuesday, August 23rd: Kiss cam

Wednesday, August 24th: “And that, my friends, is why I’m banned from Waffle House”

Thursday, August 25th: Single parent

Friday, August 26th: “Ma’am, this is Starbucks”

Saturday, August 27th: This Image (click to view) or “Why do you both look like you just ran a mile?”

Sunday, August 28th: Lost ring or “Let her go”

To participate, simply choose any prompts you like - you can do one, or a few, or one every day! Use the prompt to create a fanfic, art, song, social media post…literally whatever you’d like! You can also use the prompt as much or as little as you’d like - you can make the prompt the entire theme, or have it mentioned in passing, whatever sparks your creativity!

When Bechloe Week starts, each day the prompt for the day will be posted, and all you need to do is post your work. Tag it with “Bechloe week 2022″ to make it easier to find. And then enjoy what everyone else is posting!

new chapter tomorrow!! <3

hi everybody! i’m not dead actually, just been going through something. i’ve been working on the new chapter for a few days and i’m finishing the proofing tonight. it will be up tomorrow and i’m so excited about it. in fact, i’m going to give you a little sneak peak because i’ve basically been starving you for a month.

“It had been a few days since Beca and Chloe consummated their relationship—meaning both the intercourse and the loving confessions afterwards—and they were officially inseparable. The rest of their trip seemed to fly right by them, because today they were departing and driving back to the New York suburbs they typically inhabited. 

Beca awoke first, like normal, and rushed for a shower. The water was lukewarm, but it felt nice. It was somewhat refreshing, as the night before was hot and humid. According to the forecast, today’s weather wouldn’t be much different. She rung the water out of her hair, stepping out of the shower into a towel. Each of her few toiletries found their way back into the small case as Beca haphazardly used them whilst brushing her teeth for the last time at the lodge. 

She couldn’t help the bittersweet feeling that had come over her about leaving. She was sad that all of the fun with the Bellas was coming to a close, but she and Chloe had a lot to look forward to upon their return. Plus, Beca had nearly four rolls of film to develop. So it was kinda like the memories of this trip to the lodge weren’t fully gone. Chloe had an interview for a new job, not just freelance. Chloe wanted to be in a writing community, and Beca was rooting for her every step of the way. Rory was starting kindergarten in a few weeks, which was just so exciting. Speaking of first days of school, Beca had her first day coming up, too.”

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience but I hope you had a positive impact. I'm sure some of those horrible people will change as time goes on. Maybe some of them will even realize that they could have belonged in your group if they weren't so busy denying who they are and hating everyone because of it. Even if not, I'm sure you'll have made things a little easier for the next generation. I appreciate your bravery 💜

i'm really feeling okay about it now. i think i'll take it up with school admin at some point but schools almost out so i'll wait. i think being in that situation really showed me why we need this group. it made me proud to be a founding member.
