Never in her life had CJ felt this much love for another person, and it wasn’t just Joe that she loved with her entire heart and soul, but their kids as well, and to know that in a few short minutes, they’d officially be a family, it made CJ get tears in her eyes every time she thought about it, and she knew her makeup was a mess at that point, but it didn’t even matter. She hadn’t seen the wedding band Joe had gotten for her, but she found herself letting out a small gasp when he placed it on her finger, because it matched her engagement ring, perfectly. Finding a band for Joe, had been something CJ stressed over for weeks, because she wanted it to be perfect, but she’d finally found a perfect silver band, that wasn’t too fancy, and very much so Joe, and she slipped it onto his finger as well, as she repeated the words her father had spoken. Now came the moment she’d been waiting so patiently for, and when her Dad finally ended the ceremony, and announced them as husband and wife, and when everyone started cheering for them, CJ didn’t even give Joe a chance to do that whole kissing the bride thing, because she was so happy, she couldn’t resist pulling him in for the most loving embrace, as she captured his lips, for their first kiss as husband and wife.

After hearing the heart touching letter she had written for the kids, Joe didn’t think there way no way possible for her to pull at his heartstrings even more. But he had been wrong, and the whole time he was listening to her speak, he was looking at her with nothing but love and desire in his eyes. And again he found himself wiping back tears that threaten to fall. “I love you so much,” he whispered out to her. He was tempted to pull her into his arms and kiss right then and there, but it had come down to the time for the exchanging of the rings. Joe reached for his from his best man, reciting the words CJ’s father spoke before finally slipping the band onto CJ’s finger. And just like before when he put the engagement ring on her finger, he just couldn’t get over how good the ring looked like her. It was almost as if it was made for her, and only her.

A small laugh escaped CJ when she heard the fan calling her, because as much as she truly did love her fans, she was ready to just spend the rest of the night with her love, without any interruptions. “Clearly the chances aren’t high, but I think we can manage to avoid them, because at least that fence is blocking them.” Once Colby parked their car, and the two of them got out and grabbed all their bags from the trunk, luck was on their side, and they managed to make it up to their room without any interruptions. “So, correct me if I’m wrong, but if we really want to recreate our first time together here, if I’m remembering correctly, I’m pretty sure we hooked up that night, yes?”

Still to that day, being in the MITB ladder match had to be one of his top ten favorites he had been involved in, of all time. He already knew rather she won or lost, CJ was going to have a ball being in her first ladder match. “We have enough time to go over all of that, babe. But that’s enough about all of that for now.” He was in the process of pulling into the parking lot of their hotel, so of course now all he could think about was what would happen the rest of the night. “What do you think the odds are of us making it up to the room without running into a fan.” Even as he spoke those words he could hear someone off in the distance yelling ‘LANAAAA’ at the top of their lungs.

[text - Sweet Baby]: It’s just really hard for me to deal with all of this sometimes, because I get scared you’re going to leave me. [text - Sweet Baby]: Alright. CJ had been so convinced that Trevor would be able to make it to money in the bank, because they’d be in town the same weekend for Takeover, or at least she thought he was going to be on the card. So knowing he wouldn’t be there for her big night, definitely made her sad. “Oh no, baby. I mean I get it, but it still bums me out. Wait....why are you smiling? Are you messing with me right now?!”

He had made sure he would be able to have the pay per view off weeks ago, because he had this feeling CJ would be involved in the female Money in the Bank match, but he wasn’t about to let her know that without at least messing with her a bit first. “I might have to watch it on my phone, babe. Something came up for that night.” It took everything in him to keep a straight face as he spoke those words.

[text - Richard]: Hmmm, funny, I don’t remember anything about that shower but the sex we had ;). [text - Richard]: I mean, I guess? I hardly noticed you were naked. Ha, kidding!! [text - Richard]: I was going to train with Nattie, but I’m kind of not in the mood to deal with her today, so tell me you have an idea in mind of something else I can be up to?

[Text: Lana] I’m going to guess it’s because we took that shower the other night. 

[Text: Lana] Oh it’s the wig and not the fact that I’m not wearing any clothes at all.

Of course once CJ saw Joe crying, that just set her off even more, and if she thought for one second her waterworks were going to cease anytime soon, she was sadly mistaken, because once he said his beautiful vows to her, CJ was a mess. Never in her life had she ever felt like someone loved her with his whole heart and soul the way Joe did, and all she had to do was hear his words, and look in his eyes to know just how much he loved her, something she’d never felt with anyone before she met him. Once he was done, she mouthed the words, I love you so much, to him, before it was time for her to recite her vows as well, and much like Joe, she was going to be speaking from the heart this time. “We have been through more than most people go through in an entire lifetime, but the one constant I always have in my life, during the good and bad times, is your love. I wouldn’t even be standing right here, right now, if it wasn’t for you, and you truly are my hero, the love of my life, my best friend, and my soulmate. I will spend every day, for the rest of my life loving you, and not a day will go by where you don’t know how much I love, adore, and treasure you. I love you more than I’ll ever be able to put into words.”

After hearing the letter CJ wrote, Joe was glad she hadn’t allowed him to read it before. It was heart touching, and more importantly he could see just how much she truly love their kids. He had been only teary eye before hearing that letter, but afterwards he couldn’t stop the tears from falling. And it wasn’t just him crying, but nearly everyone who was in attendance. He was glad CJ had thought to have someone there recording the whole thing, because that was definitely something he knew he would want to look back on. Whenever the kids got older to remind them each how much CJ truly cared about them all. Once the wedding was under swings again, CJ dad let them know that it had come to the time where Joe and CJ would each say their vows. It was something Joe had been thinking about for weeks, and instead of going with something he secretly rehearsed, he decided to go with something straight from the heart. How could he not after hearing everything she said to the kids. “From the moment you came into my life I knew I was looking in the eyes of my soulmate. You have been there for me in ways I could never repay you. You’ve been my rock, my inspiration, but more importantly you’ve made me a better man. And if it takes me the rest of my life, I vow to make you feel as important and loved as you have made me feel. I love you.”

Chris knew how big the ladder match was for those involved. It was an automatic chance at a title shot, anytime and any place. So, he knew that the women were going to go all out for the match, especially hitting their signatures and finishers with the ladder. He laughed at her reply, while looking over at her. He knew CJ was smart and wasn’t going to do anything too dangerous, but he was still aware of what could happen. “I’m just making sure, ma’am. It may be the best excuse to come bug me, yes, but I don’t want you to purposely get hurt for that. You know you can come any time to talk to me. I don’t bite or seem as scary as I look. I’ll make sure to keep you in good health.”

It was always so amusing to CJ when Chris called her ma’am, because he was the ultimate gentleman, something that was so attractive to her. However, she always tried to push those feelings to the back of her mind, because not only was she married, but Chris was the company doctor, so she didn’t think anything beyond friendship could ever happen between the two of them. Or, that’s what she tried to convince herself. “Well, is there anything in particular I need to do to prepare myself? Body wise? This is my first ladder match, so I’m kind of feeling like a fish out of water over here, and I’m a little nervous, I must admit.”

All it took was feeling Joe’s naked body pressed against her own, and any parts of her that might have still been trying to resist Joe, were definitely no more. “You’re so damn sexy, baby.” Was whispered out, before CJ pressed her lips against Joe’s, in a passion filled kiss, all the while, letting her hands travel down in between the two of them, so she could teasingly start stroking his manhood.

It really didn’t take a whole lot to get CJ to break in all honesty. She quickly became putty in his hands and he smirks at her. “Don’t worry. I know I will keep perfectly fine….” Joe whispers to the blonde, licking his lips when she stripped herself down. “Mmmm, I am already feelin’ hard for you….” As she pulled herself closer, Joe pushes down his boxers for his hard manhood being revealed to her.

No matter what, CJ knew Colby would always be her number one fan, and she knew he wasn’t exaggerating when he said he’d be the loudest one cheering for her that night. “I’m going to get you your own Lana Day shirt made. I don’t really know if I’m going to win, because like I said, after that, there aren’t any plans for me to wrestle, but, we both know how things change, so we will have to see. How crazy would it be if I won? We’d be the first wrestling couple to have both won the briefcase, right? I’m definitely going to need that extra practice, because I don’t know what to do on a ladder! Like, how do you reach for the briefcase, and not fall? You’re going to have to show me everything, so be prepared.”

Despite having a match at the MITB PPV the year before, Colby knew deep down CJ had wanted to be in the first ever female MITB match. So for her to be in the one coming up was a very big deal. “Wow, that’s awesome, babe. If you win I’ll be the loudest person backstage chanting, ‘Lana is the best. Lana is number one.’” He replied, flashing a grin her direction. He was still impressed with how much she had improved as of late, and with the amount of practicing she was putting in, he only seen things continuing on that path. “When we get back home there’s still like two weeks before the new Black and Brave classes start. How bout I dedicate that time to giving you a couple of private sessions?”

Jason raised his eyebrow at her, followed by a small grin as he felt the kiss against his lips. His mocking was innocent and sweet for once. “It’s so sexy when I call you that? I’ll keep that in mind, Catherine Joy. I don’t think I’m goin’ to stop anytime soon, sorry about that.” He teased once more. “That’s good. Ya will know each others’ styles somewhat. I’m sure ya will have a great match, no matter if it’s long or short. I know they have been givin’ the women shorter matches now and they have ya’ll in tag matches more often than single matches. Which I don’t understand. It just gets boring and repetitive after a while. But what do I know? Ya deserve to be in a ladder match. They are scary, but fun as hell. I’ve had other ladder matches elsewhere. I truly believe that too, now. Ya asked me two years ago, I would had said hell no. But now? I know I’m in the right place. Braun would die laughin’ at that. I think ya should do it. Make sure I’m there so I can see everythin’ go down. I think we should have the babies there too, but we just gotta make sure either your parents go or my parents go.”

As soon as Jason mentioned their parents being at MITB, CJ got a small smile on her face, because she already had that all worked out. “Oh don’t you worry, they both will be there. Your parents, and mine, because I’m making sure everyone is there, because it’s going to be a special night.” In so many words, CJ was trying to tell Jason she was going to be in the match, without outright saying it, but she knew she might as well just spill the beans, because she could trust him with her life, and knew he wouldn’t say a word to anyone. “Okay, okay, okay, I’m going to win Tuesday, and be in the match, but you can’t breathe a word to anyone about this, baby!”
