Indian-born drummer and composer Ravish Momin and Haitian-born drummer and electronic musician Val Jenty join forces in a percussive collaboration that explores and recontextualizes their respective cultural and musical fulcrums. Our Reflection Adorned By Newly Formed Stars, their second album as Turning Water Into Jewels, is a heady brew of Vodou and Eastern rhythms, experimental electronics and voice.
