it's been a hot minute since I've listened to the Dion audios, also didn't find time to listen to the recent ones, so there are details I could be missing but I almost don't want to believe that Bunny summoning Dion was purely coincidental.

Like I believe that - Considering their initial reaction to Dion. - Bunny did not intend to actually summon a demon into their apartment when they bought something with Dion's symbol on it. And it probably was coincidental that Bunny was the one to pick it up.

What I do not buy is that this object with his symbol on it just suddenly appeared in that thrift stores inventory.

Like who the fuck had it first and how did it end up in a random thrift store?

had a bad low blood pressure moment last night and messily asked my partner for saltines and water before realizing i should probably ask for the Blood Pressure Medication I Need To Take. while they went to go grab it though i still had water and crackers so in a daze i took a swig of water but didnt swallow and then tried to cram 2 saltines in my mouth. full of water. in bed. with mouth full of water

This question is going to sound random and out of left field, and it is not an accusation because I doubt your answer will be yes, but do you use AI for any aspect of your videos/audios?

I sincerely hope the answer is no, but I have been just battered with people saying that use of AI is inevitable and a tool that should be used (I very much think that the things they are using as tools are not AI. Like an automatic spell checker is not what I’m talking about. When I say AI I mean artificially generated images or text or audio). And that carries a significant feeling of hopelessness to it, it makes one think “does anyone actually want to create things? Is anyone willing to actually make something of their own, like humans have been doing for tens if not hundreds of thousands of years?”

And so I guess my question is more like that, an attempt to figure out if I’m alone in this or not, if professionals are actually doing their own work or not. (It also looks incredibly tacky when I see other channels use AI or stolen art. It just looks bad. But that’s besides the point.)

Absolutely not, I'm firmly of the stance that generative ai is terrible, for multiple reasons. There are the ecological impacts, the fact that it's trained on non-consenting and uncompensated people's works, appearances, and voices, the fact that shitty companies will then use it to save money because then they don't need to pay people, it's just all-around awful

So yeah, no, I'd never touch that shit with a 10 foot pole. I agree it's disheartening to see people make use of it, but anyone who would use generative ai- whether it be for writing, planning, image making (I refuse to call it art), even those "funny" character songs that blatantly steal a voice actor's voice without their consent, anything- cannot call themselves a creative. There is no excuse for it

one thing that’s always been interesting to me is Kyo and Tohru’s warped outlook on love.

It makes sense given their pasts, but it’s still odd. Most people are able to compartmentalize types of love, but because of their past experiences, they can’t.

Most people understand that you can feel more than one kind of love at once—romantic vs. non-romantic—and have neither be discounted. But Tohru and Kyo both have the mindset that you can only love one person “best.” If Tohru loves Kyo, she automatically no longer loves her mom.

It really is unhealthy, but then again, these two babies have a lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms lol. This is another thing I’m sure they start to figure out when they have their own kids:

First, it’s just them and they love each other. Then one child comes and they love him, too. Then another child, and then their youngest. As they keep expanding their family, it doesn’t mean they have less love for who was there before—the capacity of the love just grows.
