This is also a fundamental problem with false binaries. It's not poor or rich. It's either rich or not rich or poor or not poor. One can be neither rich nor poor, but because someone can't be both rich and poor, people create false dychotomies
the rich =/= someone who has something I can't afford :(
the rich = the fucking rich

My tip is Know cooking. Now, before you go no shit sherlock, I literally skipped all my meals today. And skipped going to the market to buy somethings I needed (that was for the 2nd day in a row) Cooking doesn't have to be the hard part, going to get the food can be that. But you need to know how to turn whatever you have (which might literally be whatever) into food, quickly, easily and even chaotically. Food that's easy to not mess up or messes-up that are good food. But the key is knowing cook stuff: - Always have bread and sliced cheese ready. - Use eletric ovens with timers. - Have nuggets as emergency rations. - Have a stick blender to whip corn, cream, beans, chickpeas, peas or other canned stuff. - Go raw on a cucumber with ketchup. - Have quick seasonings you like available (garlic powder, msg, onion powder, paprika, mustard) - Put sugar and honey in the food for taste. - Fill jars with cut fruits and sugars to make syrup for instant juices - Prep Palm-thick sized meat by searing it and than baking at 180 with the timer. - If the economy allows it, have eggs. - Have Leaves? Cut, Mayo, Seasonings -> Salada - Have Potatos? Oven - Flour and Milk? Pancakes - Tomato and Vinager? Onion, Peppers (bell peppers preferably), Olive Oil Sugar. - Make sutff you like and eat it like cooking is behind you. - Have instant ramen and veges? Cut vege, boil water but pasta. Watch food channels so you can ADHD your cooking instead of ADHDing your not cooking. Cut, Blend, improvise, cheat, fry, eat breakfast for dinner and dinner for breakfast. Eat steak with pancakes. Turn the kitchen into chaos and feed on it. Also, have a dishwasher.

It was in the tags of a reblog.
"Mark, may I request burn spells with Lifelink?
We call those drain effects and put them in black"
That isn't what I asked. I didn't ask spells that do an amount of damage and gain the same amount of life (like lightning Helix). I asked for spells with lifelink, the mechanic (as the one granted by Firesong and Sunspeaker, heartflame duelist or Soulfire Grand master) , so that effects that change the damage done change the amount of life received .
Red is the color of direct damage and it doesn’t get lifelink, so it would require a multicolor card. I’m skeptical we’d do much of it, if any.

I'm not being hostile. Maybe excessive, but my sole intent was clear cut clarification. I didn't think mark would misunderstand what I asked the first time around, so I made as clear as I could what I was asking meant to avoid any confusion, down to clarifying why what he answered wasn't what I asked and using existing examples (as close as could at least) of what I wanted.

#yes#I know I'm being overly defensive/explanatory of what I was doing here#But this really wasn't meant to be hostile at Mark

I find it so deeply fascinating that there are medieval and possibly even ancient texts (I can't remember specifics rn but I definitely saw one from early medieval Europe recently) that are like "oh if only I lived in an earlier age when there was literal magic in the world"
I feel like nowadays people project that back ONTO the middle ages, but even back then they were like "there used to be magic and now it's gone"
its magic turtles all the way down etc etc
