I laughed my ass off when George talked about this scene at Vikcast: "That was the first scene I shot as Athelstan. I've just had a circle shaved into my head they've put this weird brown sack on me. called to set. great. Okay let's go to set. So what are we doing, what's the scene? Oh they're both naked, brilliant and you want me to do what? Watch them? Okay. Uhm What have I signed up for? What is this show? I love the fact that that was the first scene that I ever shot." The funniest thing about Obi-Wan and Anakin is that they’re that couple that gets together and breaks up constantly They’re married for years during the Clone Wars! They have THE most old married couple dynamic during ROTS!  But then they have the galaxy’s most explosive divorce on Mustafar! Then they get back together for another quick angry fuck and then briefly married again for like five minutes on that barren moon! Then another explosive divorce THAT SAME DAY! Then they get back together for one more angry fuck on the Death Star and break up again! Then they get married again IN THE FORCE ITSELF! They’re that couple who will keep doing this forever and ever, driving everyone around them nuts, until you realize, oh, they’re just Like That, just let them do what they’re going to do, they’ll always get back together eventually and they’re going to bicker like always.  They’re the worst and it’s HILARIOUS.
