Transporting the gelatin to uni. To do this we had to raise onto the roof of the car as it was the flattest/ safest surface to use. Successful no splits using the battons to carry the gelatin also provided a tight and even tension that allowed us to carry it safely.

Process photos of making the gelatin layer. This time I laid the fabric down first and in stead of pouring I scooped the gelatin on spoon by spoon, so that when the gelatin set it set around the fabric and didnt wonder too far as the fabric acted as a damm and blocked it from running to the outside or the lowest point of the floor. I also added more sugar so that the consistancey was stronger and used 2 bottles of tonic water to strengthen the mixture. Overall I used 4 pots full of the mixture and did about three layers.
This time i also let the gelatin set for 48 hours as it becomes tougher and safer to transport.
I also put more fabric around the circle in the middle where the fixture would sit as more fabric meant the more support that it could filter and spread down through the layer.

To get the gelatin onto the structure was the hardest part as this was the first full tester. Using the plastic I needed more hands than my own. So all together we bunched the edges around the top surface and then flipped it over and hung it up. The plastic was need in this model as the gelatin was not strong enough and had not cured enough to support and stay on the structure.
Filming took about 2/3 hours to get the right shots and footage
