Reasons why I will forever ship Faberry, part two:

1. The way they look at each other. Like, motherfucking HEARTEYES every single time they happen to glance at the other person. Or blatantly stare at the other person with their eyes all soft and adoring like JUST FUCKING KISS ALREADY, YOU TWO!

2. When they were singing Keep Holding On, Rachel had eyes mostly for Quinn. If not only for Quinn. Even then, you can already see just how much Rachel cares about her.

3. The HUGS. The way Rachel clutches onto Quinn’s shoulder like she never wants to let go. Jeez, there aren’t enough of them hugging to be honest. 

4. The heart-to-heart talks in the bathroom. Oh yes, the Fabathroom? Remember the time Quinn completely let all her walls down for the first time in front of another person? In front of RACHEL BERRY? Yes, that bathroom.

5. When Quinn said sorry to Rachel immediately after slapping her, and the devastated look on her face like ‘what have I done?’ And we all know that Quinn has never apologized to anyone else before and after that when she slapped someone else. 

6. Quinn admitting for the first time that she was scared. Again, to Rachel freaking Berry. 

7. When Rachel offered to wipe Quinn’s tears, and Quinn didn’t object or flinch to that. Quinn even leaned a little towards Rachel and gave a small nod. Oh, and need I say that their hands brushed when Rachel offered her the tissues beforehand? 

8. Rachel admitted that Quinn was the prettiest girl she ever met, but she knew that Quinn was worth more than just her pretty face. And she told Quinn that, too.

9. The way Quinn walked towards Rachel in the piano scene in the Original Song episode. I mean, she could have just stayed sitting on the piano bench but she chose to stand up and be closer to Rachel. 

10. Quinn telling Rachel or implying that she belongs in New York, that she’s a whole lot more than staying a Lima Loser. Every time Rachel lost hope, Quinn helped her get it back. 

11. How they always give each other sound advice. When the other isn’t thinking clearly or going to act based on their emotions, the other is the voice of reason stopping them.

12. How Quinn is always passionate and fierce when it comes to Rachel. Again, the piano scene? The bathroom scene where Quinn told Rachel not to marry Finn? The Deleted Bridesmaid Scene? 

13. How Rachel is ever so patient when it comes to Quinn? She doesn’t push Quinn to talk about her feelings, she just waits until the time Quinn finally tells her how she feels. With everyone else, she’s impatient and demanding, but when it comes to Quinn, she turns into this kind, sincere, and understanding person. When it comes to Quinn, she’s all ears and heart and soul. 

14. How, Rachel never ran from Quinn when she needed someone. Someone to love her. Rachel was the only one who offered that kind of love and understanding unconditionally and without judgment or negative thoughts. 

15. How, all Rachel ever wanted was to be Quinn’s friend. “When I look back on my high school career, the one thing - the one accomplishment that I’m gonna be so proud of is that I found a way to be your friend.” Not winning the show choir competitions, not anything related to her being on Broadway, but being Quinn’s friend. Rachel holds Quinn in that high of a regard that she says being her friend is the accomplishment that she’s so proud of. And this is Rachel Berry we’re talking about, Broadway-loving, New York fanatic Rachel Berry.

16. The Metro North Passes. Quinn was so intent on keeping touch with Rachel that she bought those expensive-ass tickets for the sole purpose of making sure that they remain close friends. And Rachel was the only one she gave them to.

17. The whole fucking “Wait, do you not understand what you mean to me?” thing. Jeez, I don’t think that’s something you say out of the blue to a friend. And the way Rachel says it - ugh! Just, Quinn clearly means a lot to her, maybe as someone more than a friend for her to say something like that. I. Just. Can’t. 

18. When Quinn went to New York just to stop Rachel from going half-naked on that student film. Really though, these two take great lengths just to stop the other person from doing something stupid. 

19. When Quinn got back on the Cheerios after the accident, and the first person she wanted to show herself wearing the uniform was Rachel. Like how the first person she showed the acceptance letter to Yale was also Rachel. I’m still pissed that they deleted the lines where Rachel was supposed to say “You look amazing, Quinn. You always do,” by the way. That was the perfect response, honestly.

20. The way Rachel smiles at Quinn. She’s all giddy and happy and her eyes obviously light up every time she sees Quinn. Like a school girl crushing on someone. Fucking. Come. On.

If this isn’t love, then I don’t know what is.

These two have ruined me beyond repair since I first laid eyes on them. My. Life. Is. Ruined. 

They’re just - it’s so fucking obvious that they’re so in love with each other. DAMMIT.

Faberry Week - Prompt 1

Title: Chances

You never know when they’ll pass you by

“Face it, Berry, Quinn is not coming” Santana looked up from her nails, staring at the brunette who was pacing back and forth in the room. “Was it really necessary to put us through this dumb situation, wearing these hideous dresses too?” She picked at the pink fabric and looked at the other girls. Some nodded and some just shrugged the comment off like nothing has ever been said.

“She promised me, Santana.” Rachel reached her phone inside her purse, checking for any incoming message but there was none. She was getting worried. Had Quinn changed her mind, again? As much as she hated to admit it, her approval was the only way she could really go through this marriage without any doubt. Quinn was the rational one between them. Despite her young lapse of judgement that resulted in her pregnancy, she was definitely the only source of her sanity. She had to be there.

“Rachel, we need to go.” Finn walked into the room, already working a sweat. His face was all red and shiny, his eyes were filled with anxiety and anticipation for what they were going to go do very soon. “They are going to give our slot to someone else.”

“Just five more minutes, please.” She looked down at her phone, hoping that it’d start beeping with a text from her. “Please, Quinn.” She whispered to herself, gripping the phone between her trembling fingers.

“It’s now or never, Rachel.” He stepped forward, to take her hand and lead her into the courtroom where they’d finally become wife and husband. He was ready, why couldn’t she put that damn phone down?

Rachel was ready to follow him. It was him or Quinn. Why couldn’t she have both? She gave her phone to Kurt, taking his sweaty hand in hers and let herself be dragged out of the room when a phone pinged. And again. And again. She turned toward the source of that noise, finding Mercedes swiping on her own homescreen, to accept the incoming call.

She stopped. She froze in her step and released Finn’s hand. Everything stopped around them. It felt like she was having one of those so-called “out-of-body” experiences. She was there and not, at the same time. She was at loss of words and her heart was shattering inside her chest. She could feel the pounding in her ears. She could feel her mouth run dry or the cold sweat running down her back. She was petrified and unable to move. She forgot how to breathe, despite the years of training, once the words “accident”, “Quinn” and “hospital” filled her ears.

Then everything went black…
