For three years, she ignored the way she clung to updates about him from her brother, every little piece of his life he didn’t share with her in the course of a hookup. She disregarded the tightening in her chest and the fluttering in her stomach when they were together, noticing that he never stopped noticing her, anticipating her desires and giving them to her without her having to ask. And she refused to acknowledge that maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t only about sex — not for her, and maybe not for him either.

And that’s, of course, how she ended up here: huddled over a cauldron in the bathroom of her tiny flat, trying to work up the courage to prick her finger and pinch a drop of blood into the potion.

(So I'm pretty sure this is the friends with benefit unplanned pregnancy fic of your (my) dreams? It really has everything and i love the fact we get to follow the pregnancy in such close detail. )

Sorry if this is too nsfw but do you know of any hinny fics where they use sex/lust potions or something similar. I don’t mean the ones where Ginny slips Harry one (like the love potion theory). Like they take them willingly or they get slipped them by someone else - the one I’m remembering has George giving them one. Sorry if this is too much and thank you so much if you do have anything!

Maybe a little of both.

If she could suffer and endure and prevail through all of that… she could live through some anonymous wanker plaguing her with badly written poetry.

(I am loving this bodyguard AU and can't wait to see where it's going. Ginny's character is so robust too. Quite the feast.)

Hello! I’ve been looking for a oneshot for a really long time now. It was hinny ofc. I remember ginny was in school (I think some kind of college) but I don’t know if they were muggles. She was staying up rlly late always studying and Harry notices she was getting too worked up. He tried relaxing her and I remember he brushed her hair. She went to sleep and I think he hid her textbooks so she wouldn’t wake up and go back to them. That’s all I can really remember, but I’d be very happy if you can find it/know it.

Must be a Muggle AU, not my fave kind of HP fic unfortunately so i almost never know these fics. Anyone able to help though?

Or: Harry gets sucked into an alternate universe where he died and James and Lily lived. Shenanigans ensue.

(A well written Alternate Universe fic with Hinny and a good (spoilers!) ending? That is COMPLETE? Who can beat that? Not I. James and Lily's presence is just the icing on the cake. Real chicken soup for this Jily lover's soul)

Are there any fics that follows canon up until Harry and Ginny's break up in HBP? Like they don't separate at Dumbledore's funeral or maybe Dumbledore never dies? Idk, just anything with them being able to be in a relationship a little longer instead of waiting till after the war to reunite.

I recently just binged @floreatcastellumposts Slice of Life One-Shots and the absolute heart eyes of it all! Teddy has a very solid presence through it all. Even though it is one shots, i would consider it a long fic since the evens all follow each other to make a cohesive story.

You give amazing suggestions and I love that people can ask here mostly comfortably and more often than not get accurate answers. Hence here I am asking to find that one fic I simply am unable to find. This is probably a very old Hinny story considering there is promise rings and marriages and Heir of Gryffindor, Merlin etc., Harry leading army in 'Golden Flowing Robes with Fancy sword' thing going on. The scene I remember is this. Hermione and others realise that Ginny is very important to Harry so they secretly set up a guard system for her without telling Harry. Ginny finds out and blames Harry and throws the ring back at him. Finally Dumbledore conciliates them by making them feel each other's emotions. After this, Ginny starts lessons with Dumbledore to control her temper.

Oh i wish i could give you this fic after such a lovely compliment, but i don't know nor can i find it. Anyone?

hi i’m looking for the fic i read a while back.

its post war hinny. harry and ginny disappeared after the war and went to live far away and with the muggles (i think). ron and hermione lives in grimmauld place rent-free and harry then demands them to pay the tax (?). and james (hinny’s kid) has the same birthday with harry.
