I noticed Kubo loves to stick to certain pairings in battles;

Byakuya against guys with "love" powers and can control people: Zommari and Pepe. Both at one point yelled at Byakuya to "accept their love" lmao and to ask that of Byakuya out of anybody. Give him a break.

Kyoraku against guys with guns: Starrk and Robert Accutrone (I had to look this guy's name up. I remember him as the Walter White quincy)

Izuru against birds: Abirama and Lille final Vollstandig form

It is such a nice feeling to be rewarded with a nice a person after going through hardships with another. It mends you. The compensation for all the betrayal you went through and it lets you finally experience happiness and acceptance.

Shinji was the perfect person to appear in Hinamori's life after what she went through. I think of at as, he was an amendment to her. After the shock and betrayal she went through with Aizen, let alone the mental, the physical damage he put her though. Hinamori was for sure down and would find it really hard to trust anybody ever again. But then Shinji showed up. With all his goofiness and good naturedness and easy going personality (and momo is such a delicate soul.) And he helped mend her.

The quincies should be thankful to Kenpachi for obliterating that meteor Gremmy — a guy they failed to keep locked up— brought down.
