"Don't die the rotten, lousy, dirty death-in-life — the only death that's really horrible! For God's sake, don't betray life and yourself and the people who love you by dying that kind of death! I've seen it happen to so many people — and it was always so damned useless, such a rotten waste! That's what I was trying to say to you a few minutes ago — it's not the death of the dying that is terrible, it is the death of the living. And we always die that death for the same reason: because our father dies, and takes from us his own life, his world, his time — and we haven't courage enough to make a new life, a new world for ourselves. I wonder if you know how often that thing happens — how often I have seen it happen — the wreck, the ruin, and the tragedy it has caused in life! When the father goes, the whole structure of the family life goes with him — and unless his children have the will, the stuff, the courage to make something of their own, they die too... With you, it's going to be very hard when your father dies; he was a man of great vitality and a strong personality who has left a deep impression on everyone who knew him. And for seven years now, your father's death has been your life. . .. It has become a part of you, you have brooded over it, lived with it, soaked in it, been tainted by it — and now it is going to be hard for you to escape. But escape you must, and stand on your own feet — or you are lost... Helen!"

30 day saezuru challenge: day 2
Favorite Character?
Yasiro.
The first time I saw Yashiro, he was lonely, heartbroken and abused teenage boy.

And then I saw this smug face.

I started to wonder how he managed to survive throughout his difficult and not very peaceful youth, how he dealt with his past and trauma. It was the moment I realized how much I was invested in this character and his personality, even though I only started to read manga.

30 day saezuru challenge: day 1
How did you discover Saezuru and the fandom?
I am huge yaoi manga fan. When I need some romance - I do not look for it in books, movies or tv shows. Nope. I go straight to the speciphic genre of manga - yaoi. At some point of my reading hobby I realized, that I was actually quite tired from school romances and that jazz and needed some good stories with manly gay couple. And then I stumbled upon Youneda Kou's Doushitemo Furetakunai dj. Oh, this story was everything. It was the moment I discovered Saezuru. I knew that it would be a good reading, but I was afraid to read ongoing series. I am quite anxious that mangaka will drop their manga. But the need for the quality reading was too high and I started to read it in 2013.
@rlttc was the first saezuru tumblr I followed. I don't remember how I found it, but since then I followed and bookmarked a bunch of saezuru readers. As you can see I am not a native english speaker. I have no problem with understanding english, but when it comes to writing... Yep. I am so overwhelmed at those moments, not only constantly thinking about all that tenses(I am looking at you perfect tenses) and grammar, but actually with everything I want to write and discuss about saezuru. I am lurking part of the fandom and have a great pleasure reading huge threads about this manga. On my main (active) tumblr I only follow scanlators tumblrs and saezuru fandom.
