I loved this book! The chemistry was amazing, I really felt the connection between Finn and Riley. I liked Finn's dad and Cian. I loved how grumpy Finn was but how he was so soft for Riley, and he was protective but not in an annoying way. I hated Rileys dad, he treated her horribly. And I hated how her dad was never confronted about anything that had to do with her. But, overall it was a fun, fast paced, action-packed story and I will be reading the other books in this series at some point! 🙂

Book: When It Raynes

Genre: Dark Mafia Romance

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️

I enjoyed this book a lot! I loved how Rayne cared for and wanted to help the kids at the youth center, Rayne's family was so welcoming to Emerson, Rayne was so protective of Emerson but still let her maintain some of her independence, and the chemistry between Rayne and Emerson was definitely there! I felt the sexual tension between them right away. And the suspense was good! However, I did feel like the story was at a stand still sometimes. It felt like a lot was happening and nothing was happening at the same time. Due to pacing issues possibly??? But, not entirely sure. I was overall pretty pleased with this book though and will probably read the 2nd book in the series at some point! 🙂

I just thought this book was okay. I didn't like Vicious and Emilia's toxic relationship and how he treated her like garbage but still expected her to stick by him. But, I did like the banter and I loved Emelia!

I really enjoyed this book! Characters were well developed, Felicia's decisions were believable, and it was paced well. The only issue was that it was predictable. But, I still had a good time with it.

There are so many questions left unanswered, the plot got lost in this one, some of the reasons for what Maz said or did, didn't make sense, and the chemistry between them went out the window. I was disappointed with this ending to the series.

I liked Ellisar, he seems like a good friend. The chemistry between Maz and Reyna was really strong. And I loved her owl Voror. There isn't much action until the last 10 percent of the book, but fantasy series usually start out slow, so that was to be expected.
