    superhuman sight isn’t a needed to see how the situation at hand was twisting and writhing within the other. of course jerry doesn’t expect for ANYONE (well except for fellow creatures of the night that is) to be accepting of his life style. however maury was neither a creature of the night nor a human, and jerry had held the bar so much higher for the other. his smile falters for a moment, eyebrows raising at the query before allowing a glance down at himself. dark eyes peering into the crimson as if to ask it if the other was earnestly asking this question to him.

    ❝ now that depends on what you consider dead, maur. ❞ no. it didn’t. this was simply jerry being an asshole because quite frankly the vampire had ensured that his victim wasn’t going to be coming back in ANY form.

          it  does  not  take  long  for  two  and  two  to  be  placed  together , the  others  nonchalant  approach  to  the  blood  belonging  to  someone  else  driving  maury  over board . there  was a  lot,  too much , and  his  chest  felt  like  it  was  collapsing ; a  violent  delight , he  thought carefully , will  have  such  a  violent  end … pensive  with  his  words  he  licked  his  lips  in  contemplation  over  what  the  other  had  done , leaving  the  taste  of  iron  in  his  throat  searing  down .            “     are  they  dead ?     “      he  asked  it  as  softly  as  his  cracking  voice  could  allow, accusation  in  the  air ; he  realized of  course  that  this  was a  beast  he  was  dealing  with , who  he  had  become  even friends  with , and  it  drew  him  over  a  line ; would  he  be  fine  allowing  a  beasts  survival  if  it  meant  innocent  lives  were  targeted  because  of  it ?
