If Bobby is alive and held in a lab I’m hoping the water there is also on fire and which ever firehouse responds recognizes him or something.

Had an overly vivid dream and to make things short, Bobby is alive and it’s revealed at the end as a cliffhanger for season 9

Got so upset with Bobby’s death I wrote to 9-1-1’s instagram account
I don’t care what you have to do. Bring back Bobby Nash. Whether it’s him becoming god or just a coma dream, bring him back.
Tim Minear mentioned that he decided to terminate the character in order to bring the show some realness to it and make it more like the everyday life of firefighters. I would like to point out that if the show had any sort of realistic story telling since the beginning, they would all be dead by now. Your average firefighter does not:
• get struck by lightning and survive after being unresponsive for 3:17 min, if anything he would have had some serious brain damage
• getting a rebar through your skull, yet again without any brain damage
• getting stuck underneath a fire truck, which by the way, weight about 40,000-60,000 pounds, at the least, that leg would’ve been amputated immediately because the bones would’ve been crushed
• A cut to the throat would’ve have also been immediate death with 1)how deep it was 2) your carotid artery is right there
• the plane crash would’ve also been immediate death considering that most windows were open and it was free falling for a good sec. Windows in planes are vital since with them you can keep the cabin pressure stable, otherwise you get hypoxia and everyone is a goner
• being trapped under a collapsed well would’ve also been a death since 1) your body is not built to withstand the pressure of 30ft of wet soil on top of it and 2) you lack oxygen down there which feeds into my other point that a firefighter wouldn’t have been able to get out via feeder pipes since there is still a lack of oxygen, one can only hold their breath for so long and that the pipes were probably not big enough for a human with gear on to swim through efficiently
• the tsunami would’ve also wiped out a bunch of people, including those at the pier since those waves come in at phenomenal speeds and the impact would’ve carried them through the town, which is filled with building and all sort of injury causing stuff, since he was also on blood thinners one bad cut and he could’ve bled out easier than he would’ve survived the tsunami
• the Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever is tick borne, while there is a possibility of it becoming airborne it would only be if the patient had any sort of intubation in them or ventilation, like wise let’s say they did catch it that way, someone with an open wound directly to the lungs, no matter how hard you try to keep the wound closed, it’s not possible and it would be even faster to spread there since it would have a direct way to the lungs. Now when it comes to the cure, it would not have survived being in just some ice, realistically (because that’s what Tim Minear wants) the antiviral would no longer work
When it comes to keeping antivirals/vaccines frozen, they have to constantly be kept that way in order to keep them viable and usable, other wise their potency wavers and eventually they become useless, consider the time of the show the antiviral would’ve been completely useless since most vaccines can at most be left out of the freezer for 20 minutes.
Tim Minear really dropped the ball when it came to killing a character who is loved by all kinds of demographics just to make it more like “real life” I hope that you find a way to make up for it and bring him back,
However if you really want to make the show more realistic, then I expect every character dead by the midpoint of season 9.
Also Bobby Nash wasn’t just a dispensable character, he brought awareness to things others haven’t, alcoholism and it’s effects and primary his deep rooted depression (which I relate too more than I’d like to admit and have been where he was, at the edge) while yes, each character had things we as viewers can relate to, bobby was one that stood out, most people I know have dealt with mental health issues however it’s not talked about in television but with bobby it was and it was more than welcome. Please find a way to bring him back!
Sincerely,
A bioengineering student who works with cells in a lab, who does know how “real life” works
