Yes, yes and yes! You said it perfectly! More characters for M:I8 (I count at least three more) and I don't know WHAT THE GOAL IS with them, tbh. Man, they really took the wrong turn after Fallout. Audience wasn't getting bored with classic crew, we just needed new stories but main talent should have priority.

I guess they wanted something different like they always say this mission is bigger, darker, explosive, more sets, more stunts, more...characters, maybe? I don't know, but it's overall the vibe is different and while there are some good pieces and scenes and of course stunts overall it just feels like too much of everything going on at the same time, chaotic but not consistent. The franchise was doing really good over the years, RN is the highest grossing I think of the films or maybe it's Fallout but regardless is a great achievement for a franchise in their 5th and 6th films, I really don't think they should have messed up with the formula. But like who am I? just a fan, there are great minds behind this franchise and they probably know better. Anyways, I'm glad we are of the same mind on this one!

Hi! I am very happy you said that your interest in M:I 'franchise has significantly declined' because I thought I was the only one. For me, M:I ended with Fallout. Based on what Rebecca has been saying in interviews, I think Ilsa will be mere flashback and only on screen for seconds not minutes. Sad, really.

Hi! Yes, i do think a flashback which she already filmed most likely and a very short at that. Have you seen the latest casting news for MI8? More people. more characters. I don't know if i care enough to get to know even more characters than in the previous film. Like Rebecca said the previous film was already too crowded for Ilsa to have a significant storyline, the OGs Benji and Luther will probably be there for even less screen time than in MI7. I just don't think the franchise went in the right direction and not only concerning Ilsa's death hence lack of interest in the next installment.

Ilsa = Vesper Lynd • Grace = Evey Moneypenny • Paris = Madeleine ?

Respectively I have to disagree about Ilsa and Vesper. Ilsa appeared in 3 movies of the franchise, she is a fighter who knows how to shoot, how to handle a sword and a knife, she has a fighting techniqe with "killer-thigh move" that is unique. Ilsa is a former spy, a double crossing agent with her own agenda and her own "missions". Ilsa Faust had more develomplent as a character because she has several arcs over several films. There are 3 similarities between these characters: 1. Vesper is a love interest to Bond, Ilsa is a quasi-love interest to Ethan. 2. Both were killed off 3. Both played by very talented actresses. Other than that they are very different and unique characters.

Hello .Yes, you didn't answer about the versions about MH 7 (there what on known).I do not have any claims, because : 1) information is not missing, 2) situations can be different, so you can understand 3) in order to put it all together it took 7 views, without screen, you also need time to compare everything, which is quite understandable.Good luck with your site, it's always interesting to "look" there !
