OOMF & TECH JAM 2016
Last week I shot Oomf at Tech Jam 2016. Sooo what is Oomf and what is Tech Jam... Oomf is an innovative startup that provides portable smart-phone chargers for rent while you’re out (at bars, universities, airports etc.) and Tech Jam is an event where entrepreneurs, emerging and leading tech companies, top-tier academic institutions and students, world-class venture capitalists and incubators come to network and collaborate. Check out the above photos for a quick glance at the attendees using Oomf technology to charge up during the event!

MIT GRADUATION PART II
When I went to shoot the MIT “Toast to Tech” graduation party I was expecting maybe 500 people. So it’s not a surprise that my jaw dropped as I walked onto the lawn of MIT’s main building. The number of people must have been in the thousands. It was one of the most fantastic parties I’ve ever seen. An open bar, an amazing band, dancing and games like cornhole and giant Jenga. Then to top it off, fireworks shot off from a barge in the Charles River. So to anyone who has ever doubted it, MIT definitely knows how to party.

MIT GRADUATION - PART I
Earlier this month I helped document MIT’s 2016 Graduation ceremony, photographing both the men and women who celebrated their 50th Graduation Anniversary (see people in red blazers) as well as the students who graduated this year. Everyone was in great spirits and you could feel the positive energy of the crowd. And of course it didn’t hurt that we got to enjoy a cameo from Matt Damon. For photos of the spectacular MIT “Toast to Tech” afterparty, check out part II of this blog post.

SALT & GROVE LAUNCH PARTY
This month was the grand opening of Salt & Grove, a shared creative photography (Sarah Jayne Photography) and florist (Sweet Annie Floral Design) studio, located in the heart of Newburyport, MA. Their launch party included fantastic catering from Shindig Catering, yummy cocktails from Wanderlush and a fun selfie booth. I had a great time capturing the party- here are a few snapshots from the event.
