One more for today: some left handed sketches from Stranger Things on my scratch pad at my desk. Just for fun. I'm not left handed but sometimes it's a fun challenge to draw with my off hand. This small 8x10" piece was quite an undertaking! So many little details. I ended up leaving some of them out and staying sketchy with some areas, but even at that there's just a lot going on here. It's funny because I typical feel drawn to one extreme or the other: really bright, or subdued and somewhat melancholy. So, here's something different. Over the last month or so I've had a project doing some large abstract pieces for a home showing in Bell Air. This is one of six pieces I did for that home. This one is called "The Value of Things" 48x60", oil on canvas. Just a little more progress on this piece now that things have settled down a bit.
