Suicide rumors

I have been not active this last time, not evenfor commisions, much know that I have been put priorities in real life (super fantastic) things. So I am super happy with my personal achievements this last years. 

But come to the issue I want to adress and give the title of this post. Yesterday an user from IG sent me a message asking me if I was ok, because there were rumors that I commited suicide. Obviously, I was like ???, and asked were this rumors come out and I cant say that I was suprised, since it is not the first time that certain fanbase spread rumors of a NS fanartist suicide over the Naruto final. Yes, you can guess what fanbase is. The rumor began in Facebook, I dont know if it spread to another social media and I really don´t intend to search for that comments, I am not going to waist my time in that, but I will address something that, at least to me, is concerning. 

Can the fanfases of any fandom STOP spreading rumors of suicide of x or y artist over a stupidity like it is the ending of serie/ship/whatever? Really, people, this is disgusting. People suffer depression not because a series ending or a fictional character, we can feel dissapointed, but depression over it(?) really(?), depression have roots more deeps than that and a resulting suicide is NOT A LIGHT THING TO TOY WITH. Not for people who suffer depression or ended their lifes, nor for the people left behind. LET’S ALL AGREE that spreading rumors of suicide of an artist over fictional characters is not only childish, but disrespectful and, in my opinion, put this issues like it does not matter. Depression is important, depression is not a thing to toy in rumors, mental health is an item that for years have been taboo in many countries (mine included), don’t relativize something as serious as depression by making fake statement over other people. 

This take me to my second point. WHY people need to make up something like this? Really, why think that if some user is out of social media for a period of time it means that she/he committed suicide? WE ALL have lifes outside social media, WE ALL have issues in our homes, WE ALL have to make priorities in some point because life outside of our screens exist. We ca have problems in home or health issues, we can be focusing on studies or even opening new paths in life because we all grow up. That does not mind that we dont enjoy making what we have, it’s just we are abble to put on hold some things to focus on others items more important at the moment. AND THAT IS OKAY AND NO ONE HAVE TO INVENT RUMORS KILLING YOU OFF. 

That is all I have to say. I dont know the exact first person who began this stupidity and I don’t care. The only thing I care about it’s this patron to make rumors of suicide if someone left or is away for a time. That is not ok and have to stop, its not the first time I saw something like this from the same fanbase and that cannot continue. Like hell, we can disagree in likes over trivial things, it is not an excuse for making a fake story were, in my case, I commited suicide because naruto’s ending and supossed threats from sakura fans (really too much imagination).

Your blog was hacked: what to do?

If you see weird pics of ladies with dubious links posted on your blog out of the blue, here’s a step by step way of stopping this and preventing it from happening again that I think might work.

Important : this only works if you can still access your blog!

Changing your password is important, but it won’t do you any good if your hacker still has an opened session on your blog and can still access it. So the first thing you wanna do is close your hacker’s session.

For that you need to go in your blog’s settings:

On the new page opened, scroll all the way down. There, you can see something called “Active Sessions“. The first and oldest one (”current session” in green) should be yours, the new one should be the hacker’s session. To close your hacker’s session, click the gray X next to it.

Now that their session is closed, they can’t access your blog anymore unless they enter the password again.

So don’t lose time, go all the way back up and change your password immediately. Make also sure your hacker didn’t change your email address.

Now you should be safe from your hacker. But it won’t prevent you from getting hacked again.

If you really want to be safe from hackers, you should turn on the “Two-factor authentification” option (on the same page).

It requires you to enter your phone number, which is a bummer. But if it’s turned on, everytime you wanna log on (so not if your session is already opened, but only if you log off and try to log on again), it will send a code on your phone that you’ll have to enter (in addition to having a password).

That way if someone tries to hack you again, even if they get your password right, they won’t be able to enter your blog without having that code.

There it is. I hope it will help some of you, since I see more and more people noticing blogs being hacked

The time has finally come! I have time to run the NaruSaku Zine 2019 again this year!

Last year, we released NaruSaku Zine 2018 on NaruSaku Day, April 3rd. Of course, we didn’t make it to the exact date but it was pretty close! It was very hard, but I’m glad people enjoyed their books. I have learned a lot about managing and finances as well.

NaruSaku Zine 2019 is set to release October 10, 2019, Naruto’s birthday!

The Theme

The theme this year is Alternate Universes! What better way to enjoy fandom works than AU upon AU? That’s right, there is no better way!

We have seen various AUs and slight iterations of Naruto over the years through chapter covers drawn by Kishimoto. It’s time to continue the trend! You aren’t REQUIRED to follow the AU Theme and can create normal NaruSaku art. After all, normal NaruSaku art is simply a Shinobi AU

The Guidelines

The rules have not changed much from last year, but it never hurts to have a few guidelines

Art

Art pieces must be 6 x 9 and at least 300 dpi for printing. If you do not meet these requirements, your image may end up stretched, pixelated, or cropped which does not look nice.

Artist disclaimers and signatures are fine, but try not to be too distracting since this is a printed book and not digital.

Writing

Pages will be 6 x 9 inches and 0.79 “margins.

Font will be Garamond 12px 1.15 line spacing. This is subject to change.

Each page can contain 325 words, that’s a hard limit of 1300. This equals 4 pages, aka 2 pages front and back. If art pieces are accompanying your story, please make room for them.

General

The art and writing must be PG-13. This is so the NaruSaku Zine can be shipped and sold to all countries and avoid any legal trouble along the way.

All art and writing must be created newly for the Zine and not previously posted online.

No edits or traces of the official manga. Everything must be original and created by us.

Not a hard rule, but we strongly suggest NOT posting your work online until the Zine has already been released.

All NaruSaku Zine participants will get 1 free proof copy of the zine

Deadline for entries is September 1st, 2019. This is to make sure there is enough time to print proofs and get copies sent out to all participants before printing the final books.

Hi! So, I've only recently found myself more and more interested in NaruSaku and very very recently found out about the NaruSaku children in the wiki (Shinachiku, Hanami, Arashi). And I just fell in love with their designs and possible personality traits. So it made me think... I'd possibly be interested in making a fanfic about them. Is that an okay thing to do? Like, does it count as exploiting someone's else's idea? I wouldn't want to offend anyone, just that these children are adorable.

Hi!, Shinachiku, Hanami and Arashi are a collective creation of the NS fandom. Much of us have different vissions of who is Shinachiku and what is capable of doing, so there are a lot of AU in our fandom, some of the popular version of Shinachiku and copany belong to the amazing @pumiih and the fabulous @kirabook

So I think there is no problem using Shina and Hanami (that are the common kids between all) on your own universe :)
