Whoever is writing my story - can you please maybe finally conclude my "compelling dynamic that's fun to explore" with ya basic "true love"? It was very interesting indeed, thanks for punching me with karma in my face repeatedly, this situation has been very educating. Now go back to some happy ending cliche, you unconventional bastard.
“true love” this, “endgame” that. what about “compelling dynamic that’s fun to explore”

Love's a bitch.
Karma is just evil.
Sometimes you meet people that are not good for you, no, they are simply bad, probably the worst for your life, your self-esteem, your worldview, your everything.
But somehow apparently it's very important for universe and karma that you not only meet them and have them in your life but actually stuck on them as if they are this new virus that invades every single piece of data in your mind.
It is also apparently vital that this is a trainwreck of god know what because you won't call this a relationship even on drugs or under acid.
And I know that this is karma because that person - that associating myself with them - is against everything I ever believed or stated in discusssions with my friends or literally everything.
Universe is literally being like:
"So have you kinda judged your friend for being with a much younger guy? Here's one for you, bitch, now deal with that shit yourself."
"Have you bragged to your friend that you will be able to recognize red flags and walk away? Now here's a goddamn dozen of crimson-red flags, feel free to actively ignore them all you want!".
"Did I hear you stating aloud how you hate domestic basic life and house routine? Here's a person you will dream of being their "ya basic wife" and having basic routine with"
"Did I hear you honestly believing and fearing of codependancy in romantic relationship and becoming kinda one person with your loved one? ... here's a joke you'll definetely like..."
Like what kind of karma is that?
I'm not even counting all the stuff about their personality - because I basically fell for my mom's worst traits + my dad's worst traits.
Universe did it to mock me? To pay back for giving all these relationship advice despite having zero experience? To rub my arrogance, my hubris in my face just because for a pretty long time I've put myself way above all this "love" thingy?
Now, fuck that, I say.
So love's a bitch, huh.. who would've thought

"𝙞 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪…" 𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙨
have fun with these :))) | tag me if you use any <333 | send a request if you want more
Getting overly jealous over small interactions.
"So what? You're dating them now?"
Overthinking and overanalyzing every single one of their crushes' actions/words, trying to figure out the intent behind them.
"Do they like me back, or not?"
"I can never figure out what you want from me..."
Constantly trying to confess, but biting their tongue before words come out, just to wonder later what would have happened if they had just said what they meant.
Getting upset over cancelled plans and unanswered texts.
Glances that linger on longer than intended.
Recalling small touches, like brushed hands or a small nudge, and immediately yearning for that warmth again.
"Why don't you get it?"
"Is it not obvious? Am I doing something wrong?"
Feeling mad or annoyed with their crush for not realizing their feelings go deeper than just friendship.
Replaying old memories in their head and wishing to make more.
Feeling unwanted whenever they see their crush giving their time, attention, and affection to someone else.
Trying to subtly touch their crush to hint at their feelings.
The "playful" flirting that they mean with every bit of their heart.
Overcompensating by giving compliments and being extra nice, but feeling frustrated all the same when their crush doesn't seem to notice their efforts.
The constant daydreams about how life would be if they were together.
Avoiding any other romantic pursuit because they're stuck on that one person.
Staring at their crush whenever they laugh or smile and thinking: "I wish I can make this moment last forever."
this has been sitting in my drafts for over a year, and i finally found the motivation to finish lmaooo

It's beautiful how a person can love someone with their heart being broken by them.
This cold love that is left after is truly fascinating.
Do I still love you? Care deeply about you? Hope that we still can have a future together? Do I believe that you hurting me doesn't define our relationship?
Absolutely yes.
And yet if you hurt me once more there will be much less pain or no pain at all. "Us" no more that's just a bitter pill for me to swallow and move on.
That cold love.
I still love you - maybe even passionately. But I have no expectations of you or our relationship left. It won't surprise me if we won't work out and hence it can't hurt me.
There's a smoldering ember of my feelings for you and it could either finally fade away or light up again. And it depends on you which it will be.
Me?
I'll be totally fine either way.

It's funny how once your heart is broken all the sad love songs are suddenly starting to make sense and you can relate to every single word.

So it finally happened.
Someone broke my heart.
And it's not like it was my first love, no. I had my fair share of crushes and loves. Never made it to the relationship though. Never thought I wanted.
But I also never thought "wow, this must be destiny, I don't know how to explain that level of connection otherwise" - before this one person.
Before them I never thought that I'd let this fear of becoming an "us" go. And suddenly I was also not afraid of boring family life - well, in theory, you know, someday if I'm lucky.
But I was not lucky.
Nor was I loved.
And the thing that hurt the most is that I genuinely believed that they liked me. But if they did not - if even the person that I shared this phenomenal connection and trust with did not like me back - then who the fuck will? Am I even likable romantically?

Ideas For Religious Horror
Religion can bring out the best in people - and the worst. Horror fiction involving religious elements can bring into question our beliefs about morality, the definition of sin, and the modern interpretation of old rules.
Here are some ideas for dark story plots that circles around religions as a theme.
Horror In Holy Books
Use the stories that are handed down in holy texts to inspire the monsters and ghosts in your story.
Retellings of holy texts can also be quite interesting:
Think of Jonah from the Bible. First, there's a terrifying gale and the danger of the ship sinking. Then the sailors toss him overboard into the stormy sea. And finally, he gets swallowed by a whale and survives for three days and nights in the fish's belly...perfect adventure fiction material, I'd say.
Faith verses Fear
When writing about religious heroes, the story gets much more exciting when you insert moments of doubt and fear. The greater the fear and the shakier his faith becomes in the climax, the more triumphant the sucko ending would be.
Religious Historical Horror
If you're writing Historical fiction, you'll find lots of scary religious contexts.
The hero has (modern) attitudes of compassion and faith, but his contemporaries apply religious rules in the gruesome ways of their period.
The religious practices/dogma are discriminatory, which the hero fights against.
The hero is a religious martyr, pushed into the quest by religious leaders.
Unbelievers Meet Scary Gods
Here, the characters explore an old temple or the rubble of a fallen sacred site, asserting that they don't believe in gods.
They inadvertently commit sacrilege - and realize only too late that there's a high price to be paid.
This works well with both real and fictional religions.
Religion as Evil
Instead of presenting the whole religion as evil, focus on the evil specific character commiting crimes in the name of their religion.
It can also be "fake" religion - a greedy person makes up a pseudo-religion to place people under their influence. They would misguide people and use them for their own ends - greed, power, monetary and sexual gratification.
To give depth to your story, let the villain and the hero have the same faith, but interpret it differently. Would the others be able to distinguish the two of them?

Sometimes you meet someone, and it’s so clear so immediately that the two of you, on some level, belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you’re in love or creating things together or foxhole buddies or partners in crime. It’s so clear, right off the bat, that this is what you’re supposed to be doing, that this is what you’re for. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest of circumstances, and they help you make a life. I don’t know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but. It definitely makes me believe in something.

Good Traits Gone Bad
Exploring good traits gone bad in a novel can add depth and complexity to your characters. Here are a few examples of good traits that can take a negative turn:
1. Empathy turning into manipulation: A character with a strong sense of empathy may use it to manipulate others' emotions and gain an advantage.
2. Confidence becoming arrogance: Excessive confidence can lead to arrogance, where a character belittles others and dismisses their opinions.
3. Ambition turning into obsession: A character's ambition can transform into an unhealthy obsession, causing them to prioritize success at any cost, including sacrificing relationships and moral values.
4. Loyalty becoming blind devotion: Initially loyal, a character may become blindly devoted to a cause or person, disregarding their own well-being and critical thinking.
5. Courage turning into recklessness: A character's courage can morph into reckless behavior, endangering themselves and others due to an overestimation of their abilities.
6. Determination becoming stubbornness: Excessive determination can lead to stubbornness, where a character refuses to consider alternative perspectives or change their course of action, even when it's detrimental.
7. Optimism becoming naivety: Unwavering optimism can transform into naivety, causing a character to overlook dangers or be easily deceived.
8. Protectiveness turning into possessiveness: A character's protective nature can evolve into possessiveness, where they become overly controlling and jealous in relationships.
9. Altruism becoming self-neglect: A character's selflessness may lead to neglecting their own needs and well-being, to the point of self-sacrifice and burnout.
10. Honesty becoming brutal bluntness: A character's commitment to honesty can turn into brutal bluntness, hurting others with harsh and tactless remarks.
These examples demonstrate how even admirable traits can have negative consequences when taken to extremes or used improperly. By exploring the complexities of these traits, you can create compelling and multi-dimensional characters in your novel.
Happy writing!

One day I think I might not have adhd and just conditioned myself into thinking I have it so I have an excuse to be lazy just like my mom says.
Then I spend 6 hours total writing 2000 words and watching a film and doing a bit of everything else. No, I'm not doing it consistently in that order. No, I'm not like writing for half an hour then watch a bit of a film with a bit of distraction.
No - I'm writing for a minute or two, then I unpause a film, watch it for a minute or two maybe even less then a minute. Then unable to concentrate on neither of those things I go google something or refresh my tumblr page or stare at my phone. It takes me 2 to 5 minutes, then I repeat the cycle again. Sometimes I change the order of those thing, sometimes it's a little bit more then a couple of minutes but never more then 7-10.
It's almost 3 a.m. It's been 6 hours. I need to finish writing the bit I have in my head. I want to finish the goddamn film - I've been watching bloody thing since 8 p.m. and there's still 6 or 7 minutes left. I'm exhausted. Instead of doing either of these things I'm writing a tumblr post.
Fuck this thing.

i will love you if i never see you again, and i will love you if i see you every tuesday. i will love you as the starfish loves a coral reef and as kudzu loves trees, even if the oceans turn to sawdust and the trees fall in the forest without anyone around to hear them. i will love you as the pesto loves the fettuccini and as the horseradish loves the miyagi, and the pepperoni loves the pizza. i will love you as the manatee loves the head of lettuce and as the dark spot loves the leopard, as the leech loves the ankle of a wader and as a corpse loves the beak of the vulture. i will love you as the doctor loves his sickest patient and a lake loves its thirstiest swimmer. i will love you as the beard loves the chin, and the crumbs love the beard, and the damp napkin loves the crumbs, and the precious document loves the dampness of the napkin, and the squinting eye of the reader loves the smudged document, and the tears of sadness love the squinting eye as it misreads what is written. i will love you as the iceberg loves the ship, and the passengers love the lifeboat, and the lifeboat loves the teeth of the sperm whale, and the sperm whale loves the flavor of naval uniforms. i will love you as a drawer loves a secret compartment, and as a secret compartment loves a secret, and as a secret loves to make a person gasp… i will love you until all such compartments are discovered and opened, and all the secrets have gone gasping into the world. i will love you until all the codes and hearts have been broken and until every anagram and egg has been unscrambled. i will love you until every fire is extinguished and rebuilt from the handsomest and most susceptible of woods. i will love you until the bird hates a nest and the worm hates an apple. i will love you as we find ourselves farther and farther from one another, where once we were so close… i will love you until your face is fogged by distant memory. i will love you no matter where you go and who you see, i will love you if you don’t marry me. i will love you if you marry someone else–and i will love you if you never marry at all, and spend your years wishing you had married me after all. that is how i will love you even as the world goes on its wicked way.
