Recency Bias is a multifandom exchange with a minimum of 500 words or one finished art piece. All fandoms must have aired/released since the beginning of 2024. Sign up on AO3

Make sure to check the "Uncategorized Fandoms" section in the tagset; since we are working with recent fandoms we have quite a few that haven't yet been wrangled into their correct category.

Also, because this is a new and small exchange, if you missed nominations and the fandom you want isn't in there, you can reach out and ask us to add it! Message here or email recencybiasexchange@gmail.com.

Rules reminders: You are only required to request and offer 1 fandom, but gifts are only guaranteed for those who have requested 3+ fandoms. You may submit more than one request per fandom (for example, if you want to request art for one set of characters/relationships and fic for a different subset) but a total of 3 unique fandoms is required to be guaranteed a gift.

You may sign up with a maximum of one well-behaved sock; please ensure that your sock is not matchable to your main account.

Before the end of the sign-up period, we recommend checking to make sure that at least one person is requesting the fandom and characters or relationships you're offering. It's fine if no one is offering the fandoms you're requesting, but you should make sure that your offers are matchable to at least one person so that you have something to create.

When signups close, if no one is requesting anything that you offered, the mods will reach out to you to see if you want to add fandoms or characters to make yourself matchable. If you do not respond or do not wish to add any, your signup will be deleted.
