endurance match thing that kills me: eito begging takumi to stop and trying to get him to stop about as much as he can. because like. okay on its own it's like fine and normal, enemy begs for his life, nothing new

but he'll win this. like. he'll win. that recontextualizes a lot. combine in together forever that he freaks the fuck out when it looks like he'll lose takumi and the begging hits different. it's not. for his life it's. for takumi's. he'll survive this. takumi won't. he's left alone in takumi's body.

like idk i feel like his victory there would feel a bit bittersweet. like he pushed takumi too hard and then lost him forever. even killing everyone in the SDU and on the satellite wouldn't fix that.
