“  see  what  i  did  there ,  huh ----  on  a  serious  note  though ,  willow  trees  are  normally  associated  with  sadness  and  whatnot ,  so  the  line ‘ life  was  a  willow ,  and  it  bent  right  to  your  wind ’  is  beautiful  in  a  sense  that  it  shows   change ;  life  was  sad ,  she  felt  lost ,  and  in  that  time ---  in  that  relationship  --- although  turbulent ,  she  was  happy .  i  guess  i  can  relate  to  that  seeing  as  i’ve  been  in  a  relationship  where  it  seemed  happy  to  others --- i  seemed  to  be  happy  in  my  own  eyes ,  but  in  the  back  of  my  head ,  there  was  just  one  small  thing  that  kept  resurfacing  and  making  me  question  my  happiness  from  time  to  time .  i  wish  i  could  say  i  had  any  regrets  in  regards  to  how  things  turned  out ,  but  it’s  taken  me  some  time  to  understand  that  you  have  to  go  through  things  like  that  in  order  to  find  what  works  for  you ,  what  works  for  others  and ,  more  importantly , what  makes  you  happy .  i’ve  found  myself .  and  i  can  only  hope  that  you  will  find  yourselves  though  this  tumultuous  and  beautiful  thing  called  life . ”
