Oh my goodness thank you! I was pretty scared, I've started reinforcing more traditional jester tricks by doing them back to him and the examples seem to be working pretty well. He's still just as happy and silly as before just less romance inspired, I've also been much more attentive about the media he consumes, I didn't think tracking it would be an issue but I think I've accidentally been leaving the hallmark channel on and romance books around so I've made sure to limit that kind of stuff. I did manage to get in contact with his previous owner and he said the jester was basically raised alongside his daughter and they grew up with a semi brother/sister kind of relationship. She had been taking care of him until life got to hecktic so she rehomed him, we think he's mirroring the bf's behavior to her, to me. So I think I have it all figured out! Thank you so much, and as for the last comment, I think you'd be surprised based on what actors actually eat!

I think my pet jeser might be in love with me? I've had him for about 2 years now, I got him from someone who had him for over a decade. Since I got him he's been playing tricks on me, expected, but they all seem to have a romantic twist, usually flowers or some kind of honey or apple. He's actually perfect at making me laugh and being silly and when I take him for walks he plays really well with kids, but he does so like it's some sort of display. I've read a lot about it and most of this seems like normal jester behavior but he gets incredibly sad when he's around other jesters and clown types for playtime, there's a specific park I go to where people take friendly semi-domesticated clowns to socialize and whenever I take him there he avoids the clowns entirely and opts to play with the other owners to just me. Every night he sleeps in my bed, he started at the end but now he sleeps next to me and sometimes I wake up and he's holding me. I think he's in love with me, but I'm also scared. Can clowns love their owners? Isn't that inter-species love? Is this even a jester? Or is this just some ren faire actor playing some kind of joke? Please give me advice about that to do. I'm trying to track down his previous owner for information.

UGH!!! This is so real, finally sat down to read the book this summer and it's such a SLOG!!! This is so cute <3

thinking about werewolf richie having super sharp canine teeth so when he grins it looks a bit like he's snarling and when he realizes this it makes him really insecure about his smile because the last thing he wants is to be scary

and all of the losers notice like. right away. because richie isn't making weird over-the-top faces anymore, he's not laughing as boisterously, and all his smiles are close-lipped.

and they spend all week trying so hard to make him really really smile but they can't crack him so they send eddie in to get him to spill whats wrong.

and when richie admits that he doesn't like how his smile looks with his sharp teeth eddie doesn't even think before saying "what? but they're cute-" before freaking out and telling him to stop being stupid because only an idiot coward would be scared of a muppet look-alike like richie, but richie totally heard him and he smiles like he's won the lottery for the rest of the day.

Question!!!

I came over here from the "It" fandom and was wondering what kind of clown Pennywise is? I don't understand if he's like a scare clown or evil clown or not technically a clown at all? I'm scared if I invest time into getting a clown of my own he might end up violent? Am I just being prejesticed to clowns based on media? Please help!
