this isn't even a hot take, from when I was going as Toady the amount of adults who fixated on the children in predatory like ways was insane to put it very, VERY, bluntly. I've kept Avatar arms length and even just disappeared from a few chats and people I genuinely enjoyed talking to because I was so paranoid and angry at the state of the fandom and how normalized it was for adults to age up characters.

(And even wrongfully losing connection w a ton of cool people because of my personal feelings)

meanwhile there were PLENTY of adult characters. there is PLENTY LEGAL AGED CHARACTERS.

I'm slowly coming back, I want to start drawing again and making ocs but it's hard when I see that this is STILL a problem that's being discussed. Idc if "theyre fictional and can be aged up" bc why are you attracted to a minor character SO much??? that you have to age them up to fuck them??
