Eric Sorrentino is from Texas and resides in Kansas. He's an avid baseball fan, and writes a great blog about the Rangers called "Gametime in Arlington." We're humbled that he decided to do a blog about Dallas bands and included two of our songs in his top 10 list of Dallas rock songs. Some great bands also made the list, including Fair to Midland and Faktion. Thanks for the shout, Eric!

The following is a write-up from our acoustic set posted by The Music Enthusiast. We're super happy he enjoyed the set. We had a blast revamping our songs. If you feel like reading it, check it out and subscribe to his blog. Thanks!
It was back down to my Deep Ellum “home” if you will, for a second straight night. However, instead of going to the Curtain Club, the night would be spent at the more intimate, Liquid Lounge, where a phenomenal line-up of bands had been put together. Making it highly unusual, though, was that...

NME reported this morning that former Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach will once again be rejoining the band, but this time as their new singer. Pretty awesome news.

Our song "Like a Vision, A Ghost" is featured as the first track on the newest Torch Entertainment Rock Compilation. We're pretty excited about it.
Torch entertainment is run by Brian "Torch" Idell, who we have become friends with through the local scene. He is a good guy who cares deeply about music and the Dallas, Texas scene. We are always happy to be a part of his compilations. You can also follow Torch Entertainment on Tumblr as well.
This year has been off to a good start for us here in Redefine. So far, 2012 has seen two of our songs on compilations. The other song is "Cut The Cord," which can be found on the Escaping The Ordinary Vol. 3 compilation.
Anyway, enjoy some free Redefine while you're at it. If you're curious to look at both of our albums, you can find Blur On The Horizon on iTunes, as well as The Power of Persuasion on iTunes as well.
Thanks for listening! Go give these great peoples a shout out, and enjoy some Redefine while you're at it!

This week proved how different my clients can be. Earlier this week, and the end of last week, I shot a bunch interiors and editorial work in some extremely nice houses. I capped off the week by shooting the polar opposite; roller derby mug shots and elaborate team photos. Being a photographer puts me in locations and situations I would never find myself in if I had a “normal” job.
I also went to the Texas Photo Round Up to get my portfolio reviewed and sit in on a great marketing lecture. It was an awesome experience, and I made some great connections with art directors and art buyers from GSD&M, T3, EmDash, Door Number 3 and TM. As well as a meeting with creative consultant Amanda Sosa Stone.
Next week is going to be even crazier, I think, so I’ll hopefully have a chance to post some more photos soon.

The Terry Crews Old Spice commercials are hilarious. Here's a compilation of the 2012 ones just released. They make us laugh, so we thought we'd share.
