When you are so tired but you don't want people to think you are mad at them:

[ID: Digital fanart on white background. Lucanis from the shoulders up, holding a coffee cup, eyes very shadowed and smudged purple. First panel he's stone-faced, second panel is identical but with a smile. /End ID]

Hey tumblr people! The first crowd funded project (a sweet ttrpg module) I've been asked to do art for needs just 80 followers to go live on Backerkit! It would mean the world to me if you could take a look and maybe throw a follow to the book.
Link is here:
And the cover art (that I'm quite proud of!):
Thank you so much 💚💚💚

#or you have to live in complete seclusion and no one including your loved ones can know where you are#think that's pretty normal for women's shelters#for obvious reasons but it's still a huge barrier

Somehow he still seems to enjoy basking in the sunlight and the quiet busyness of the birds and butterflies. They say necromancy is a dark art, but whoever reanimated the beast of the black swamp knew what they were doing.

My Minnie baby has found some way to chip the tip of her horn off.
It's not that shocking; especially on the ewe lambs their horns are very thin at the top. Even so, what are you doing, baby?
So now she matches her father, who has the tip of one horn cut off because it curled too tight while growing and grew into his back. We had to cut it off with a hacksaw. One of many interesting afternoons animal care has made my spouse and me share. After that, the horn curled around with no further problems and Kratos cuts a fine figure, but the tip is still flat.
*informational reminder: horns are not living material, they are made of keratin, like fingernails. There is a living bone inside the horns, but in both the above cases only the keratin was involved and so the sheep was not hurt by the break/cut. Kratos was injured by the horn growing into his shoulder, but healed up with nothing more than some antiseptic spray and watching.

Hey just in case you're like my mom and feel obligated to be "polite" to junk callers, remember that they're doing this as a job, and if you're not going to be a sale, the "polite" thing really is to not waste their time and just hang up.

Got this lovely little thing unlabeled and have been unable to identify it ever since. Slowly spreading in a small clump, only about 5 inches tall, and I haven't seen it bloom in the two years I've had it.

Disturbed her bringing her some snacks, so,

Me: casually standing on the back porch checking in my succulents.
This fucking robin: hey.

We're just... Chillin. She's just like three feet from me tops.
