I've been really busy lately with work and personal stuff going on, and I went out of the country for a bit (so no internet access haha). I'm not sure about the other mod though. I guess she's gone?

So I went and redesigned the ghost half of "14 year old Lilith" and I made her look kind of older by accident oops. This might not be the style she goes for, but I honestly couldn't tell what Lilith's style even was. It looks kind of wannabe punk? I have no idea. But anyways: The only thing that's the same is probably her eye colour. She seems like someone who would get into mischief and run off exploring so I went off that. The top is probably one of those things that had a transparent bottom that she'd have likely ripped off to make a belly top (is that even what they're called? OTL) but yeah. Khaki shorts and boots. I changed her hair colour because it fit so much better with this scheme (and I don't think anyone's every done that so ~original~) plus shes apparently had the same hairstyle since forever. Who keeps their hair the same all their life? Though Danny and Jazz apparently kept similar hairstyles Maddie and Vlad have changed a few times (and not just cause ghost powers on the latters behalf).

I also personally have problems with seeing so many half ghost characters with humanoid skin so I compulsively changed it. Doesn't have to stay that way.

A lot of her (I think it's one person too) characters look like they need design work, because Paulina, Ember, Danny, Sam look alikes. I doubt she'd use this if she saw it, but inspiration struck and although I think it would make an excellent look it's all up to the creator.

Hello, Hello!

Ah, it's such a pleasure to be inducted as a new mod for this blog! I'm Ms. Anonymous, and I've submitted a few questions and a post or two before being invited to run this blog besides the original admin! I'm truly honored. 

As such, I'd like to simply state that I won't actually be able to do red lines until my tablet is replaced. I will, however, be able to do redraws, palette adjustments/fixes and redesigns, along with a few tutorials in terms of design, palette selection and overall characterization of DPOCs. I'll be sure to file all of my posts under the tag "Ms. Anonymous," and will be tracking it!

I can't wait to work with the original Admin and all of you lovely submitters. :)

ZOMG, I love this blog despite it's trolling past. I find it fun to help people instead of random bickering.

So I kind of stared at this one for a long time trying to figure it out. I do not know a thing about Martial Arts so I'm somewhat BS-ing this. I  checked out his bio to make sure the was doing some kind of karate, ninja like stuff because this pose seemed to be a pre-kick? At least that's what I think is happening here.

For a beginner you did pretty okay, though in the original picture his balance is WAAAY off. I'm also not entirely sure it's possible to do that with your legs considering his angle. His posture is kid of awkward looking. Googling references on proper ninja stances could help with the over compensation for his balance, Ghost, since he's a professional(?) and pro's are precise. I attempted (read: attempted, 'cause fighting poses are my weakness) to draw a more balanced version of what Jin is doing and I think that's (roughly) what it should be like. He shouldn't look like he's about to topple over or appear to already be on his way down, y'know? Balance is key.

Since Jin is 18 you should also probably extend his legs and torso to give him a more 'grown up' appearance because in every drawing you do he looks like he's 14-ish. He's pretty scrawny for someone who should be tough enough to perform advanced martial arts. You did say he's the reincarnation of a samurai, did you not?

Haha, I actually wouldn't particularly mind that much at all! I only fear that I might fall behind a bit due to school and the fact that my tablet has a habit of being a bit of an issue, it hasn't been working properly for a while now, so red lines are kind of a hassle for me. :c -Ms. Anonymous

Ahh, no worries. Even just giving opinions or finding things for me to get (or even idea bouncing on edits or something?) is excellent. And if you have a scanner traditional things are all good.

BTW, why this this blog so focused on the OC aspect of the Phandom? I can see why, but there's some bad fanart out there too. Any objections to submitting some?

Crap, I don't see why everyone is flaming this blog. I think it's a great learning experience for EVERYONE. Even the ones that get pointed out. No one is perfect, but they will improve as they go on. Keep doing what you're doing.

Redline of  "This Ain't Right" (This ain't right indeed)

Ok, I'm honestly not doing this to make fun of anyone (and sorry about that mini-pun up there. I just couldn't help myself). It's just a boring day today and I was busy searching the DP OC tag. It just so happened I stumbled upon this blog. Out of boredom, I decided to do at least one pic.

Ok, this is the first pic that popped into my mind because, seriously, it bothers me every time I look at it. No offense but why is she leaning forward? It's as if she's going to fall any minute now. Not to mention her torso as way too long. I know Misty has to be tall and everything but, seriously, consider anatomy.

I don't want to go on all day explaining things but here are the things I fixed:

Her hat size. It can't be her exact skull size because her head needs to breath.

Her hand. It's too small for the DP style and for a normal person as well.

Eye alignment. Her eyes feel too close for me.

Torso.

Her center of gravity.

Her legs. I even had to extend beyond the picture since I get that Misty is tall.

Her shoulders.

Meh, this is all I have to say really but, seriously, studying anatomy and proportion is your best friend. It puts more fluid into the picture and, not to mention, keep it realistic.
