Hey, here's part 2/5! I'm sorry, I wanted to get all the pages done before Valentine's day, but I doesn't look like it's gonna happen. This comic still happens just before Valentine's day.

Heyo! I hope you are feeling okay and that the requests arent making you too tired. Could you maybe write some Modo headcanons? Literally anything you want. Thank you!

MODO! Modo is the best boy!

Modo (BMFM)

Modo grew up as the only kid in a neighborhood of grandparents and his mom. He was the sweet little kid charming the neighbors thoroughly by helping with errands/his general good personality. To this day Modo has good memories of his army of grandparents and plenty of stories to share. 

Out of all the guys, Modo has scored the most. Come on - a total sweetheart, respectful of every single woman he comes across (”ma’am”, he calls them “ma’am”-), has good confidence and a rockin’ bod on top. Before the war this man had a lot of “friends” in different locations to call on whenever he was in town. 

As if he wasn’t great enough as is, Modo is also the guy who is on good terms with any friends with benefits he has. He’s had a bad ex or two, but in general he has a great dating record. Throttle knows to go to him for advice when he needs it. Vinnie hasn’t a clue about his dating history.

Has an insane amount of practical skills. Do you know how valuable of a skill sewing is when you’re part of a rebellion? Modo can seam and stitch just about anything. A robotic arm just means he doesn’t have to worry about stabbing his own thumb anymore. 

No one’s quite sure what all his skills are. Throttle and Vinnie know the guy can sew, do minor repairs, take care of basic injuries, but it’s only Charlie who has witnessed him fixing the plumbing in one of the sinks and cooking basic meals. The only reason he doesn’t cook more often is because he’s not sure the guys would like it. 

The emotional intelligence of the trio. He knows when someone is feeling off and which person to shove in their general direction to get them feeling better. Vinnie and Throttle have learned to just go with it - if they’re being shoved it means they’re the best person for the job.

Thoughts about Turf Wars (’06).

BMFM fandom, question--

Don’t get me wrong here, I did enjoy BMFM ‘06, but how canon is it, exactly?

I have some questions: Where’s Spitfire been. I’ll “accept” that somehow Carbine didn’t know about her but when? Early, pre-Freedom Fighters? Is she a lovechild? Who? Can’t be Vinnie’s Aunt Mago (although I think there definitely WAS chemistry before Stoker made General)

Do people like her? How do she fit into your canon, if any? Is she ignored because she’s only been part of 1 or 2 episodes?

I’m playing with the idea of a kind of “reimagining” of the BMFM ‘06 episode Turf Wars. I may or may not be responsible for wringing more angst and suffering out of these mice. I’d really to expand on Mars’ culture and where Harley ends up, because having her die after...two episodes? And be that important to Vinnie? Is bullshit.

I’m not sure what happened behind the scenes with that episode, but based on the (admittedly little) research I’ve done it wasn’t highly favored, and I can see why. I feel that the core concept was there, but the execution definitely could’ve been improved on, as it all left more questions than answers. Not to mention, it was aired as the finale episode - which, I assume, is network meddling.

Things could’ve been different, is all I’m saying. BMFM really does have an interesting world to explore.
