Goodness my Tumblr is in a sad state of inactivity, and I do apologize. I mainly used to post from my phone or tablet, but the app stopped updating for the OS that they had. I have new tech now, and if I can get it to work I may try to remember to update more often. Anyway, here is something new from me. I designed a talking board and had it lasercut on various materials. Most of these are sold, and some I will not be working with the same material again because it scratches easily. But I do plan on creating more and experimenting with different material types for them.

I finished my drawing for @changelingartistcollective's Operation Gaia. 'Hunter's Moon' which was intended for the theme 'Night Owl.' The auction starts tomorrow and proceeds are to benefit the National Audubon Society.

Painful dental problems plus sketchbook = well... this I guess. And a lot more dragons that don't quite fit into their thumbnailing spaces. More dragons to come later.... I like this facial structure design, but I am going to experiment with a few more for dragon commission.

And here is the main art I produced in 2017, minus two paintings that were created for Christmas presents this year. I am going to register them before posting them so... here we are.  My favorite creation this year is definitely the 'Parliament of Ravens.' (Last year was Oaths, Burdens, and Curses). This year I also took a very strong liking to creating knotwork thanks to the wonderful art direction of the amazing creator of Fireland, which most of the work created this year is for! For 2018 I hope to improve my skills, of course, and continue to focus on creating better compositions, point of view, and... backgrounds. Heh. Expect more knotwork this year, and lots more work for Fireland. I am currently booked through the first 6 months of 2018, if not longer as my projects all seem to take me longer than expected. Since my son started school I thought I would be less busy but the school gives us enough to be nearly as busy as before. BUT! Meeting set deadlines should be a goal added this year...

Outside of art goals, my other goals for this year are to try to be a bit more optimistic and complain less. I also need to take care of my health better... I have found myself slowly taking less and less time to exercise and get some sun. Though, I think I was on around 10 different antibiotics this year for various ailments... I hope to not have to take that many this year though the odds are already starting out against me XD If it's not one thing it's another.

Anyway, Happy New Year to those celebrating. I hope 2018 is kind to all of you.
