Okay, so as a viewer it's pretty obvious that Nice and Wreck were probably more than friends (side-eyeing China's censorship laws). But like... can you imagine the gay existential horror of Wreck's perspective?

You are dating your best friend behind the closed doors and playing his nemesis so he could get more popular. Then he gets a fake girlfriend, and spends 3 YEARS fake dating her, while you have to simply watch them playing house from the shadows. And then he ghosts you. Without explanation or a notice. And the next thing you see is your gay lover "truthfully" saying on some lie detector show that his fake girlfriend is actually his GODDESS? You try to reach out once again to no avail. Did he fall out of love with you? Does he not need you anymore? Does he love her now? You have no answers.

A month passes by and the next thing you hear is that they're "getting married"? And YOU have to help them make their little PR stunt? You agree, because maybe it's the only way to talk to your boyfriend and get some answers. But then you get there it's not him. He looks like him, he sounds like him, he has his powers, but THAT'S NOT HIM. Desperately, you ask there's your real lover, only fo find out that he killed himself. He killed himself and you didn't even know. They never fucking told you. You lash out against that fucking skinwalker, only to be defeated. And as you fall down the last thing you see is some copycat of your dead gay lover getting chummy with his "girlfriend", looking down on you, like you're the crazy one here.

You guys have no idea how happy I was to see Enlighter this episode, I was really interested in his potential in the first arc. Since it seemed that despite being a 'villain' he actually cared about the truth above all else. And I'm glad to see I was proven right in this episode considering how fervently he defended Cheng.

My man just can't stand liars, even when it might jeopardize his carrier by going after higher up hero's, he still dose it to make sure the public is aware of the truth. Which makes me real curious to know what the og Nice did to piss him off so badly that my man had a complete meltdown.

And considering what the PV's are hinting at, I think my man Enlighter discovered some really dark shit that Nice did and has been desperate to get it out to the public ever since. And considering how people reacted when he crashed the Nice x Moon talk show, I'm guessing this wasn't the first time he's tried to trip Nice up into confessing whatever he did.

Which has me wondering if it's possible that in season 2 that Lin Ling will enlist his help to investigate what happened to Moon. I mean he would make the most sense to me since he doesn't seemed to really hate Lin Ling-just the lies he's told. And isn't affiliated with any hero agencies meaning it's very unlikely he could be manipulated into covering stuff up. Plus in this episode he's displayed near Ace Attorney levels of investigation skills considering how fast he was able to prove Cheng innocent, so he would be invaluable to have on Lin Ling's side.

But that's just me speculating.
