Plastic roads

Not every plastic is recyclable and it may be too costly to collect and sort the huge amount of plastic products people use and throw everyday.

An ingenious method is being adopted in countries like Australia, India, Indonesia, The Netherlands and UK , where plastic is mixed with asphalt and bitumen to construct roads.

Hope this will help reduce plastic pollution.

Wecyclers is a business in Nigeria which collects plastic and other recyclable waste from the consumers and gives them points in exchange, which the customers can then redeem. Great idea I must say !
