As I continue on my journey to helping those transitioning from an employee to self employed I am adapting to the challenges.
I am adapting to the days when things go well and days when they don’t go very well at all.
For those looking to create a second income, hoping to stay the course, there will be challenges. There will be days that you’ll feeling like giving up, however stay the course.
This journey is not for the swift or those who appear to have it all together but for those who can endure to see their desires become a reality.
I am absolutely L-O-V-I-N-G it this process. I am discovering more of me. My resourcefulness, my resilience, my attitude and so much more.
One thing I'm really excited for is next week is the implementation of the following:
✍️ - Making effective decisions
✍️ - Connecting to my values
✍️ - Engineering great inner leadership into my working day
Sounds pretty awesome right?
If you've got some time and fancy hanging out to find out how these techniques can help you start your side hustle business or to move from procrastination to productivity then simply DM me and let’s set a date to have a chat.
The journey continues 😊

This is very true, the right person can be trained to have the skills required for the role.
Attitude is so important and of course is something that can mean different things to different people, however attitude is distinct from having the skills and abilities to perform a job role. It can, for example, refer to a perspective, an outlook or an opinion.
The right attitude can determine our behaviour, maintain our focus, and ultimately create our desired results.

“What’s Hard About Depression”
—
1. You feel as if you’re judged - and that you’re rarely understood.
2. You know that others love you – but you didn’t feel like they care.
3. You want to feel you’re wanted – but you feel you’re in the way.
4. You want to just be normal but you’re shrouded by despair.
5. You wish you could be happy – but you can’t stop feeling bad.
6. You want to make the effort – but you don’t have the energy.
7. You feel that things are hopeless - as they never seem to change.
8. You’ve heard that life gets better – but it’s so hard to get there!

Every time I get a role, or the opportunity to explore a role, I look at it, and I think, ’What is the story we’re trying to tell here?

My tips on how to STUDY SMART
1. Wake up early.
Waking up early (and, of course, going to bed early) is one of the main steps. A good night of sleep will provide you with the energy, whereas an early morning will provide you wuth the determination you need.
2. Have a nice breakfast.
This will give you the energy and motivation to start early. It will feel like you’re ready for the day ahead.
3. Plan your studying ahead.
Getting organized helps with creating and achieving goals. Set goals of topics you want to study to be more efficient and smart with your day.
4. Stick to a program of 45 minutes of studying and 10-15 minutes of resting.
You shouldn’t study too long, or, after a while, your brain just won’t learn properly. Have a little break every 45 minutes to maximize what you’ve learned. Try setting a reminder during your break not to make it last longer than expected.
5. Don’t get distracted. (Forest app)
I use the Forest app on my phone to prevent from using it. I turn off every other device that I don’t need or lock myself into my room if someone else is using them. When my mind wanders off, I focus on my goals and my determination.
6. Make sure you have a longer lunch break.
Your body and mind is like an engine: to make it start, you need fuel. Be sure to have lunch properly and to rest for a while afterwards (not too much, though!)
7. Repeat what you learned after a short time
To store the information in your brain, you need to make your brain think that’s a necessary information. Everyday, we eliminate about half of what we learned because our brain thinks it’s not a necessary information. You need to repeat everything every now and then: if your brain sees that the information comes up again, it thinks it’s something necessary and it will store it.
I hope this was helpful, it’s just what I do during my exams’ session to get productive and efficient. Remember that it’s more effective to study smart than to study a lot.
