Nighthold normal cleared. No loot. Was very easy, but Gul'dan was harder than I thought and looks to be interesting on harder difficulties =)

Cenarius down, and the mini boss Xavius with the extra loot table is down as well.

It took a few tries but we got it down. I missed out on a pretty okay ranking because I ran straight through the wall in P2. Who decided to make them the same color as the ground?!

No good loot though, for anyone. Almost everything went to offspecs. And I bonus rolled another 880 cloak off of Cenarius.

At least I have the shiny new Dreamer title.

Helya nerfed into the ground?

Last night we killed Helya on heroic. Previous weeks we've been progressing slowly with some issues in killing all adds in P2 for a smooth transition. This time the tentacles and everything just melted, and we didn't even have our Warlock for dpsing down the tentacles while everyone else squashes the Mariner.

So in 2 attempts we got her down and we didn't even have any good attempts.

So now our biggest block is going to be Cenarius. Loving the 4min zerg tactic so far.

Update on my park, it is getting there.

So I bought Planet Coaster yesterday and played for a bit. It definitely has that nostalgia feeling to it from when I used to play RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 back in the days.

Coming from Cities: Skylines I'm really liking the controls as they feel very similar. Everything I tried to do just worked. Loving it so far.

I also found a guy that has recreated most of the shops and stands from RCT1 which I will try out when I play more this weekend.

Into Helheim!

Yesterday we went our first time into Helheim. However since we saw that a lot of top guilds were having issues on heroic (Guarm especially) we decided to have a go at normal to see the mechanics in an easy context before going into heroic. We ended up killing Odyn and Guarm before raid time was up and it was interesting. Guarm looks like it is going to be a really fun fight. Short and intensive, and should be fun healing with all the movement.

Prior to Trial of Valor we cleared heroic EN aswell (We are getting really quick on that) I ended up with two new items, a warforged Forest-Lord's Waitwrap that replaced my non warforged + socket that I had previously and Scarred Ragefang Chestpiece at maximum ilvl. Now I just need trinkets/neck/gloves to be higher ilvl and then I'm set until Nighthold.

After running Ulduar 10 for quite a lot of weeks I finally got the chestpiece finish of my transmog. This is how it looks =)

Also, I got new legs from heroic Ursoc: titanforged Splotched Bloodfur Leggings. I doubt I will see anything better until Nighthold at least.

Mythic Ursoc and Dragons down. Ursoc is feeling very easy now, most likely due to the enrage timer no longer being an issue. Since last week we shaved off about 30 seconds off of the predicted kill to the initial kill time, pretty sweet.

It probably also helped that our new Discipline priest is pretty awesome.

Dragons was messy but we managed to get it down. Sooo many random variables that change consistently and the end was just chaotic. Me and Nobelia (our Holy Paladin) healed on one side and did manage to get a good synergy going with me blanketing everyone and just pushing my HPS and him focusing on saves and spothealing.

I also got my hands on my second piece of Mythic loot, and it happened to be the maximum titanforged Dragonspur Wristguards. The loot gods (or the loot council as we call them) really seems to like me this week :)

I'm very happy with our progress this week. Hopefully we'll be able to get to Il'gynoth very soon.

My new Efflorescence macro in 7.1

With 7.1 they added a new macro condition with [@cursor] which will cast a spell where you hold your cursor, for spells like Efflorescence it means it is one less click, but also no visual circle previous to cast. Some might prefer it, others not.

Another addition for targeted AoEs for macros is the addition of casting [@player] which will cast it below your character. This addition on the other hand is amazing when you just want it out and don't need the perfect precision (such as when everyone is properly stacked up already)

Below is my combined macro with all the above mentioned conditions

That macro will cast Efflorescence as usual when pressing normally, if control is pressed it will cast at the mouse cursor and with shift held down it will cast at your targets feet.

It appears that my paladin is perfectly attuned to the RNG gods as I really can’t be more lucky than I’ve been.

At only 28 hours played at L110 I received my first legendary on my paladin which I very (not) aptly named Infortunate. That name can’t have been more false. Not that I’m complaining. It also appears to be one of the best legendaries for me as it is BiS for protection which I'm going to be playing a bit with a friend and it is far from worst for Holy as well (700k heal every 20 seconds).

I also finished off the last missions that stood between me and the third artifact socket which boosted my weapon from 833 to 883 and a few thousand points of intellect along with it.

At this point, the only thing that is standing between this character and higher Mythic+ and Mythic EN is one or two of those golden dragons. At this point I’m a bit torn between Power of the Silver Hand which arguably is the better but takes more points before I can get and The Light Saves which I can get right away.

Right now I’m leaning towards just getting PotS first as everyone is recommending that. I think after the past 2 days loot I’m not going to feel as gimped as before either

My plan was always to bring my Holy Paladin up to 110 at some point, however due to several raids being gimped or canceled entirely due to our primary Holy Paladin being AWOL I decided to prioritize it a bit and reached 110 this weekend and started getting gear.

And so far I've been extremely lucky, not only have I received a lot of gear but a lot of it has been with very good itemization too.

Not having played Holy Paladin for a good 6 years and not being used to the class I can say I'm pretty satisfied with my performance in EN where I managed to keep up with another Holy Paladin with 20 itemlevels ahead of me (though it was on normal)

The downside is that I now have to farm AP on two characters, especially since I'm severely gimped without a few key traits on my little Highlord.

Emerald Nightmare

I've started with proper Mythic progression now and we've gotten heroic on proper farming mode as well. So far we've been running heroic with 5 healers with 30man, but we are executing the fights well enough that we can probably drop that to 3 healers. At least I'm gonna suggest that we go 4 for next week.

Time to get that boomkin spec going for reals :)
