Though it appeared ordinary, upon flipping it around for Robin to see, a familiar emblem could be seen waxed on.

“And trust me, I’m not-a pulling your leg!”

“For me...?” Robin reached out to take it. Just when he thought the mystery might last a little longer, he let out a gasp, staring at the envelope in his hand, suddenly even more wide-eyed. Like himself, there were many people who recognized that distinct symbol, umistakenlbly, and instantly--- After all, he’d opened an identical letter in the past. Discovering what was inside had literally led him into another world.  Mario was right. There’s no way Robin wouldn’t be surprised about this!

“Th-This is... It’s the Smash Tournament’s emblem! You’re really not joking, right? Then that means...” Gods, and suddenly everything felt too soon, but it was all due to the surprise. It wouldn’t be an understatement to say that participating in the last one had been one of the ultimate honours. Thinking that brought an excited smile to his face.

“How soon is it starting up again? I can hardly believe this!”

“I’m glad you could drop by too – say, why don’t you stay awhile first?” Mario motioned towards the door. “But y'know… I may have a surprise for you, now that we’re on the topic.”

“Yeah, I can imagine. Congratulations on your recent adventures again! Time flies, huh.” Robin nodded and followed his friend, thanking him for the invite. Hearing the next words, he blinked, eyes widened a bit. 

“A surprise...? What do you mean?”
