Plus, it can be argued that Aegon had reason to hate Lucerys, since he had mauled and made an invalid of his brother (yes Aemond became an excellent swordsman, but he was still a disabled man because of that); what did Baelon do to Daemon?
Oh, WAIT, I know this one.
He threatened his right to the throne, in a way that Daemon could not work around (like he did with Rhaenyra).
Oh wait a minā
I rest my case. Oh, and Lucerys was older than Baelon (yes, young to our eyes; but to the contemporaries?)
I guess it runs in the family, doesnāt it @fromtheboundlesssea ?
yeah aegon celebrated luke becoming dragon food but daemon did the same when aemma was cut open and baelon died
Hello everyone! As I had anticipated I am putting up the poll for the May story update.
This month the update has been KBFKBSII āRHAENYRA chapter; but what about next month?
These are the palpable updates for next month, but remember that here you can find all of my stories (wip and finished ones) if you wanna read other stories!
The meta update should be up by the end of the month (it has become far longer than I had anticipated; hope you like it!).
ābut Jace and Luke grew up to be pretty terribleā thank you! I swear we get one picture of Harry with his pretty curls then suddenly everyoneās going crazy over Jace, creating their own fanon about him because Rhaenyraās precious heir must be absolutely perfect.
They did the same thing to Luke, because he was played by teenage Elliot with rosy cheeks and curly hair everyone saw him as ābaby boyā who was completely justified in MAIMING Aemond š
Youāre right, Rhaenyra was a terrible parent not because she abused them but because she enabled them just like Viserys did to her.
(In reference to this post)
Alllllll of this. Enabling is every bit as bad as abuse in my view. Regarding Jace, I really, really hope that pretty boy gets some more personality because he's just so boring in canon, and even more boring in fanon. And I should clarify that by "personality", I mean I hope we get to see him commit some war crimes. And I'm hoping for the same for Rhaenyra, for the record. This is all about who's your favourite war criminal, after all.
My god @maddiethefashionista š„ŗ this is so disturbing and yet plausibleā¦ Iām going to throw up, thatās horrifying.
I just noticed yet another DISTURBING detail in Alicent's life that I wish I hadn't but it explains a lot:
What do you see here? Is Alicent wearing Queen Aemma's nightgown?? And why would she do such a thing?
Next up, the infamous Viserys-Alicent scene at Driftmark:
Did he really mistake her for Aemma? Or did he let it slip out that this is how he likes to call her when they are alone? Did Alicent feel she had to pretend to be Aemma when she was with him because this is what he liked or missed or had a kink for? You can clearly see Alicent's shock when he says "I'm going to bed, Aemma." She does not seem shocked by the words themselves, or that he mistook her for Aemma, but because he said such a thing in public.
I mean, if this is true, then my poor girl Alicent had to be completely stripped of her own personality to be desirable in Viserys' eyes. And as I am sure you very well remember, what happens right after Alicent wears Aemma's gown and goes to Viserys? That's right, he calls her to his room, and they have sex.
Look at how worried she is, even though she was so sure he would call her, I'm gonna cry. And when you see these scenes in context, in juxtaposition with Rhaenyra enjoying her freedom in this episode it's just--heartbreaking.
This means, Alicent knew very well what she was doing, and why she was doing it. She had to be desired by Viserys if she was to bear his children and heirs. And if she had to secure her position at court, she had to be the "substitute wife".
The Queen Aemma 2.0.
If you don't at least feel for her and respect her after that, then I don't know whether you really have a heart because--
So, since the polls are closed, here are the Hagās April Monthly Updates!
Thank you for anyone who voted, to begin with.
Unsurprisingly perhaps, seeing how much the story is loved, the majority of you has voted for the monthly update to be: KBFKBSII ā Rhaenyra chapter of which I leave you a sneak peek.
Daemon was leading the triumphal parade, the trumpets and drums sounding with the bells yet, the crowd was somewhat less noisy than she had expected and all but fell silent the moment the woman Daemon was leading by the rope passed. Lady Whent walked with her head, a beacon of red against the gloom winter atmosphere, high, her cerulean eyes challenging, defiant almost. Reminding her of Alicent in a way that left a sour taste in her mouth.
And, surprisingly (since most of you have been avid fans of the biblical series, the mythical series and the resurrection series) the majority of you has voted the Daenerys, Cersei and Rhaenyra + kids parallels meta! Of which I leave you with a small screenshot!
See you in April with the update, the meta and the May polls!
After having the results of the April story monthly update I leave you with the meta poll.
Let me know! You are all welcome to keep sending me asks about topics youāll want me to cover, Iāll be sure to include them in the next monthly updates!
As it happens Iām heading into session season and Iām terribly behind as life has gotten the best of me in these past months and whilst working full-time and studying I canāt afford to give as much time as Iād like to the stories and the metas.
So, Iāll have to cut the time I usually reserve for fandom theories and my writing and focus instead of my studies.
This means that my updating schedule (already erratic as it is) will slow down and perhaps become a bit more regular. So, Easter-forth I will post only one chapter and/or one meta a month until the session is over (so four months).
So, in the coming days I will ask you which stories youād like to see updated in the monthly update and which metas youād like to read.
