So this is what 2013 looks like...
Wish it wouldn't be considered indecent of me to post a picture of the welt/bruise that I have forming on my ass from being adventurous on my hike through Runyon Canyon today.
Future adventurers beware: Like most things, rocks are slippery when wet and they will literally bite you in the ass if you aren't careful.

Dirt Poster is a Design and Graphic-Design work made by Roland Reiner Tiangco, a new graduate of a Design School, living in New York. While handling the poster, your hands starts to get dirty, and this dirt allows you to see what’s the poster is all about. Check out also the artist’s Website.

Yes, I am watching America's Next Top Model. And yes, Victoria IS working out with the giant chess pieces in the yard. She also chose to do so in her bikini. #love @mezamaze

My mother is trying to subliminally remind me that I’m a bad mother for leaving my dog behind to go to the beach. Not gonna happen. That dog is getting spoiled as shit this week. (Taken with Instagram)

Mating for dinos
Tumblr media
Anyone who knows anything about me knows that I have an affection for dinosaurs.
But did you know that scientists are now figuring out the logistics of their mating processes?
Well they are. Check it here.
I can’t get over this.

Quote
I was shown how fragile life was on Saturday. I saw the terror on bystanders’ faces. I saw the victims of a senseless crime. I saw lives change. I was reminded that we don’t know when or where our time on Earth will end. When or where we will breathe our last breath. For one man, it was in the middle of a busy food court on a Saturday evening. I say all the time that every moment we have to live our life is a blessing. So often I have found myself taking it for granted. Every hug from a family member. Every laugh we share with friends. Even the times of solitude are all blessings. Every second of every day is a gift. After Saturday evening, I know I truly understand how blessed I am for each second I am given. I feel like I am overreacting about what I experienced. But I can’t help but be thankful for whatever caused me to make the choices that I made that day. My mind keeps replaying what I saw over in my head. I hope the victims make a full recovery. I wish I could shake this odd feeling from my chest. The feeling that’s reminding me how blessed I am. The same feeling that made me leave the Eaton Center. The feeling that may have potentially saved my life.
Jessica Redfield (real last name: Ghawi) was shot and killed last night at a midnight screening of ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ along with 11 others when a gunman opened fire in a theater. The above is from her blog, written in June, after she narrowly escaped another senseless shooting at a mall in Toronto. (via newsweek)

I can’t bring myself to get my shattered iPhone screen fixed or replaced because I feel like it’s the perfect metaphor for my broken and shattered life.

My man
We just arrived in Arkansas to work for the weekend and all of my comrades are calling their men to let them know they’re safe and sound. I thought it only fair for me to take it to the blog. We all know it’s my man.
Just know: I’m safe and sound in bum-fuck Arkansas.
