Protection from Evil: The Use of Protective Medals and the Role of Relijewels
Protection from evil is an intrinsic concept in each of us. Humanity has always sought ways to defend itself from dark and negative forces. One of the oldest and most widespread methods is the use of shield, including protective medals. In this article, we will explore how these medals can help protect from evil and highlight the work of Relijewels, a leading company in the creation of these sacred objects.
Protective medals are sacramentals that aim to protect those who wear them from dangers, negative events, diseases, curses, and dark forces. These sacred objects are often blessed and carry with them a deep and spiritual meaning.
Among the most well-known medals, we find the Medal of Saint Benedict and the Miraculous Medal, both rich in meaning. These medals are not only symbols of faith, but also powerful tools of protection.
Another important tip is to avoid near occasions of sin, as the accumulation of sins can facilitate attacks by the devil. In addition, confession can help to "lighten" the weight of sins and drive away demons.
Relijewels is a leading company in the research, design, and production of religious jewelry in steel, including a wide range of blessed religious medals. The company stands out for its ability to combine fashion and spirituality, creating fashionable and meaningful jewelry.
Each medal created by Relijewels is designed for longevity and intended to accompany the individual throughout life. Made of 316L steel, these medals are highly resistant to corrosion, scratches, and wear, ensuring exceptional durability and preserving intricate details even after years of use.
Protective medals are powerful tools for protecting oneself from evil. Through their symbolism and the blessing they carry, they can serve as spiritual shields against dark forces. The important work of Relijewels in creating these medals underscores the importance of these sacred objects in our modern society. Remember, however, that spiritual protection is a personal journey that requires commitment, faith, and awareness.

Why is the Tau such an important symbol, let's look at it together.
Tumblr media
The Tau is the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet and has a very profound meaning in the Jewish and Christian tradition. In the Old Testament, the Tau is mentioned or appears in several contexts.
Ezekiel 9:4
One of the best-known references to Tau in the Old Testament is found in the book of Ezekiel. God tells the angel to pass through the city of Jerusalem and place a mark, or Tau, on the foreheads of the people who groan and cry over all the abominations committed in the city.
Tau as Symbol
In the Old Testament, Tau is often used as a symbol. For example, in the book of Revelation, God seals his servants on their foreheads. This sigil is often interpreted as the Tau. Furthermore, in the Christian tradition, the Tau is seen as a symbol of the cross on which Jesus was crucified.
Tau in Jewish Numerology
In Hebrew numerology, or gematria, each letter has a numerical value. The Tau represents the number 400, which has various symbolic meanings. For example, the world was created in six days, but on the seventh day, God rested. Thus, the number seven represents totality and perfection. The number 400, being a multiple of seven, is therefore seen as a symbol of totality and perfection.
In conclusion, the Tau plays a significant role in the Old Testament. Not only is it mentioned in various verses, but it is also a powerful symbol with deep spiritual meaning. Studying the Tau can provide a greater understanding of the Jewish and Christian faiths and Holy Scripture.

The Origins of the Saint Benedict Medal: An Immersion in History and Symbols
Introduction:
The Saint Benedict Medal represents an object of profound veneration for the Catholic Church and its faithful. Depicting the patron saint of Europe, this medal boasts a rich history linked to protection from evil and the snares of the devil. Let's discover together its origins, its symbols and the changes it has undergone over the centuries.
The first traces and the manuscript of 1415:
The first testimonies linked to the Saint Benedict Medal emerged in 1647 during a witchcraft trial in Bavaria. The defendants mention a Benedictine monastery, Metten, where the presence of a cross with mysterious symbols had prevented a curse. Inside the monastery library, a manuscript from 1415 was found which provides clarification on these symbols.
The original medals and their casting:
The Saint Benedict medal that we know today differs from the original one (see photo 2). Our medal derives from the fusion of the original medal of San Benedetto (photo 2) with the medal of San Bernardo (photo 1).
The medal of Saint Benedict bore the exorcism "Holy Cross, you are my light, let not the devil be my leader".
The Saint Bernard medal, however, featured the exorcism “Vade, retro Satan. Don't attract me to your vanities. The drinks you offer me are evil. Drink your poisons yourself.”
In the center of the original medal there was the abbreviation of the name of Jesus, "IHS" (photo 2), symbol of his presence in the lives of the faithful and of his protection from evil. It is assumed that the two medals were often represented on two distinct sides of the same medal (see photo 3). An example of this double representation is found in the medal present in the monastery of Subiaco (photo 4).
Changes over the centuries:
During the 18th century, the word “ihs” was replaced with “pax”, which means “peace” in Latin and represents the importance of inner and spiritual peace. These changes led to the modern medal, which is actually a commemorative medal, a modified concept from the original medals.
Conclusion:
The Saint Benedict Medal, with its rich history and powerful symbols, represents a tangible sign of faith and protection for devotees. Its evolution over the centuries testifies to the constant search for a union between tradition and contemporary meaning.

The Miraculous Medal: Between Fidelity to the Vision and Devotional Reality
Tumblr media
Introduction:
The Miraculous Medal, a Marian devotional symbol linked to the apparition to Saint Catherine Labouré in 1830, presents a discrepancy between the vision of the Virgin and her representation on the widespread medal. Let's discover the nuances of this story and the profound meaning it contains.
Vision vs Representation:
In the vision: Our Lady holds the world in her hands.
On the medal: Our Lady's hands are open and radiate rays of light.
Why this difference?
Technical reasons: At the time, reproducing the world on a small medal was technically complex.
Alternative solution: Saint Catherine erected a statue of the Madonna with the world in her hand, in the place of her apparition, to preserve its original meaning.
Father Chevalier's interpretations:
Father Jean Chevalier, biographer of Catherine Labouré, modified the description of the apparition in his subsequent editions (1885-1891), creating discrepancies with the original story.
The Ray Dilemma:
According to Aladel: the rays come from the Madonna and fall on her globe at her feet (symbol of the world and of France).
According to Caterina's autograph: the rays start from the globe that the Madonna holds in her hand.
Chevalier's interpretation:
The rays come from the Madonna and illuminate her orb at her feet when the one in her hands disappears due to the light.
Symbolically, the globe cannot be both the starting point and recipient of the rays.
Critical considerations:
Chevalier's version does not mention the opening of the hands.
Soeur Tanguy's version does not mention opening the hands or releasing the orb.
Catherine's description suggests that the orb disappears due to the brightness, not that the hands open.
The “simplification” of Aladel and Caterina:
Aladel:
He simplified the image to make it conform to the classical iconography of the Immaculate Conception.
He facilitated the minting of the medal.
Catherine:
He does not dwell on the description of the medal, already known, focusing on the creation of a statue and an altar in the place of the apparition.
Figure (3): Fidelity to the vision
We present a medal created to faithfully reproduce the vision of Saint Catherine Labouré, restoring the symbol to its original integrity.
Conclusion:
The history of the Miraculous Medal highlights the complex relationship between mystical vision and artistic representation. The new medal represents an attempt to combine fidelity to Catherine's vision with widespread devotion, preserving the profound meaning of the symbol.

The Truth about the Fake Miraculous Medal
Tumblr media
Faith is the driving force of the world, not a simple object, no matter how important it may be. Otherwise, we risk falling into superstition. However, when a lie disguises itself as truth and pretends to be judge and justice, I feel compelled to intervene. That's why I wrote this article about the **Fake Miraculous Medal**.
The images you see have been downloaded from the internet. I have done nothing more than highlight what needs to be observed. If human stupidity does not stop even in front of evidence, then I give up.
Lately, I receive many messages from people who have been influenced by misleading advertisements and false news about the Fake Miraculous Medal. These people keep repeating like a mantra that the original miraculous medal has five-pointed stars. I would like to make a note from a symbolic point of view. The five-pointed star represents the Vitruvian man, therefore enlightenment and man's opposition to God. If this five-pointed star is upside down, it represents the beast, that is, the antichrist.
Another small note, evident to the observer, is that what they pass off as the original medal, willingly or not, has a serious symbolic error. On the back of the Fake Miraculous Medal, at the bottom of the medal there are two upside-down five-pointed stars. Let's admit that the five-pointed stars are acceptable, but upside down they seem excessive. Someone might say it's a mistake. I answer that it may be a mistake, but it is a mistake that, if you want to create a very important symbol, needs to be corrected.
If we want to be precise, the star that best represents the Virgin Mary is the eight-pointed star. Not by chance the Madonna is also identified with the name of Stella Maris. If someone, instead of stopping to spit sentences, wants to delve deeper into the subject, I advise them to go and look at the symbolism of the five-pointed star and they will see how they will immediately change their mind.
Regarding the eight-pointed star, it can be easily verified that in many depictions of the Madonna approved by the Catholic Church the most widespread is that of the eight-pointed star. It is a very recurring number that concerns the Madonna. Having said that, I am sure that I will not change anyone's mind, but at least I have expressed a thought clearly evident through observation on the Fake Miraculous Medal. If you are still not sure, I advise you to turn to competent priests such as exorcists and biblical scholars knowledgeable about symbols and you will see they will confirm what I said.

I hope this helps! Remember, truth is always the best policy.
