Digimon (specifically the shows) and fnaf (specifically the games) aren't usually Fandoms you'd think would go together, just based on genre, but when you really think about it there's actually a lot of possibilities there, especially given that 70% of the named characters in fnaf are children and that there's a time when even the player character of most of the games is a child/teen himself makes a trip to the digital world an interesting possibility.
Months ago, I had a dream where a massive group of people, children and adults alike, were in the digital world. There was a battle going on in the distance and one teen was very focused on it. I don't know when that teen became foxybro, but at some point it registered that he had a digivice and that it was his Digimon in the battle. I woke up and an idea just formed around my thoughts at the time.
Every iteration of Digimon has its own rules, and some of them line up uncomfortably well with the story of fnaf. It is not unprecedented for Digimon to fuse with their human partners. The Digimon universe, if I remember correctly, has possession. Kids are more powerful then adults.
My idea was very vague at first, but then I realized I could play around more then I was with the rules. Here are the rules I came up with:
1. If a human feels a deep empathy/sympathy/emotion connection to a mon then they can partner. A digidestined can have multiple partners.
2. A human, through feeling strong emotion towards or abouttheir digimon, can help a Digimon digivolve beyond its natural capabilities.
3. Digimon can fusion evolve with their human partners.
4. Having a digivice means you cannot otherwise use data to modify your own body other then through fusion. This means you can't heal wounds or turn non food items into energy.
5. Data constructs can be broken down into base data, which can then be used to make new data constructs, essentially making matter out of energy.
6. Digimon can "possess" anyone without a digivice, granting the human enhanced physically capabilities. The excess data can be used to modify a possessed humans body.
7. Digivices can break.
8. Arguably, a possessed human, given enough data, could be much more powerful then other Digimon, because their data doesn't need to be used to maintain their physical form.
9. Adults are much harder to "possess".
With all that information in mind, here's the first "episode":
It's aiden's birthday and all the major characters are present for one reason or another. The fnaf 4 bullies, the missing children, the aftons and emilys, and of course a few other children and parents.
Suddenly something strange happens. The building is teleported to an entirely different world. At first it just seems like the power just went out and the adults quickly find their children or groups of children as William goes to check the breaker box, unknowingly being followed by Elizabeth, who doesn't want to be separated from him in the dark.
Henry ends up watching over charlie, the children who can't find their parents (mci kids) and Dave. Mike and his friends stick together, more annoyed that the place lost power then anything else. Employees start directing the parties back into their individual rooms leaving Henry and Mike's groups in the main area. No one has noticed the new additions to each of their outfits. Each person under the age of 19 has a small handheld device attached to their person somewhere.
After a bit of waiting there's a sound, what can only be described as a deafening roar, immediately followed by a series of explosions that cause the building to collapse around them. Henry of course protects the children while the eldest of Mike's group tackles the other three to the ground, forcing them all under a table. Elizabeth runs to her father at the loud noises and startles him enough that they're both wedged under the breaker box and safe from the rubble...
Unfortunately the chaos isn't done. Once the building is finished collapsing some kind of monsters come rushing through, grabbing children and stealing them away. Henry grabs a leg from a broken table and holds them off as the children in his care run away. William has been knocked out by the debris and hitting his head on the breaker box and both he and Elizabeth are taken.
The monsters don't notice the teens under the table, even when Mike's friends have to hold him back from chasing after his fleeing brother.
Eventually the monsters leave and everything is quiet for a while... soon a new monster, a different one, starts shuffling through the broken building. The other teens don't notice, but Mike does, especially when he realizes where it's headed. He can't stop himself from shouting at it as it approaches his fallen foxy mask.
"Hey! Leave that alone!"
And he immediately realizes he fucked up when it jolts and their eyes meet... he can feel his friends tensing behind him as it slowly starts making its way towards them... until it's snout is slotted in a gap in the collapsed ceiling and sniffs.
"A hue-mon!"
It's nasaly, excited voice comes as a shock to the four teens.
"You can talk!?"
Mike can feel his friends glaring at the back of his head, but he's honestly more concerned with the talking red dinosaur in front of them.
"Of course I can talk hue-mon!"
It pulls it's snout free and looks through the gap, a single yellow eye peering in at their little group.
"There's more then one!? This is amazing! I have so many questions!"
They flinch as the eye is replaced with long claws that easily rip apart the drywall and support beams covering the table. The more that's removed the more tense Mike's friends seem to become... but it almost seems to have the opposite effect on Mike himself.
"... are you a child?"
"Huh? Oh! Yeah! Or a rookie if you'd prefer. I'm guilmon!"
It looks at him with kind, playful eyes and he can't help but see how Aiden used to look at him...
"... where are your parents?"
"Parents?"
"Yeah. The ones who take care of you."
The spark they had seems to die a little... but guilmon quickly puts up a facade.
"... oh... yeah... I heard hue-mons had something like that. We don't have those here! We can take care of ourselves!"
Mike can tell they're smiling, or at least trying to, but it feels fake...
He pulls away from his stunned friends and climbs out from under the table, unsure what he can do to comfort the creature that looks up at him with wide, loving eyes... in the end he settles on placing a hand gently on top of its head, as if he were gently petting an animal.
The both jump away from each other when they hear a loud, shrieking sound from Mike's pocket. He reaches in and pulls out the strange device, trying to fiddle with it and silence it when it suddenly stops and glows brightly, it's once gray colors fade to the same vibrant black, white and red that make up guilmon's hide and something indescribable snaps into place for both of them.
Neither of them has any idea what just happened... but deep down they know they're stuck together, and they rather like that fact.
They hear Mike's friends climbing out from under the table, but don't look away from each other until Mike is startled by a hand on his shoulder.
"You good foxybro?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm fine, just... confused..."
The teen meets his eyes and Mike can tell he doesn't believe him, despite it being the truth. He genuinely has no idea what just happened... or why it felt so... right...
"Seriously Jamie, I'm good."
"If you say so..."
They both jump as they hear a quiet groan from nearby. All five look to the source, Mike paling in fear as he realizes what they're looking at.
"HENRY!!"
He rushes to the man's side, quickly followed by guilmon who pushes away a section of the wall that looked like it could collapse on the two. Chica mask, Marcus, is the next to react, ripping the tablecloth off one of the many tables in the room and woding it up before pressing it firmly against Henry's shoulder. Mike quickly gets on his knees and goes to help him, despite his rapid breathing and shaking hands.
"Shit! He's already lost a lot of blood!"
Mike starts shaking, terrified of what that could mean for the man. Guilmon runs from the building and Mike has to bite his lip to keep from sobbing at the immediate and painful feeling of betrayal that hits him. He almost doesn't notice the voices calling his name until he's forcefully pushed away.
He looks up through blurry eyes at the person who pushed him, finding the ever present Freddy mask no comfort when the "original" freddy is dying right next to them.
"Mike! You need to breathe!"
"He can't hear you Jeremy!"
"I'm still gonna try!"
Mike looks back at Mark and James as they continue to put pressure on the wound, even as the tablecloth slowly seems to fill with the man's blood. Only Mike seems to notice the presence enters the room. He tenses up for a moment until he hears a familiar voice.
"He's over here! We don't have much time!"
The four boys snap to look at the approaching figures, guilmon, and an angel.
The angel walks up to the man, stepping calming over the destruction caused by the monsters before her.
"Can you help him ophanimon!? Please! He's important!"
"... we are quite lucky he was not chosen."
Dread fills Mike, and somehow he can sense guilmon feels the same.
"If he had been I would be unable to help."
She taps her staff gently to the man's chest once before releasing it, allowing it to slowly fade into the body below it, an aurora dancing across the surfaces of his body.
"You can release him now. He is no longer in any danger."
The two boys hesitate a moment as they look up at the woman, but eventually James begins to lift the fabric away, revealing untouched skin where there was once a gaping wound. Mike finally stops holding back, sobbing loudly as he's pulled into guilmon's surprisingly warm arms.
Ophanimon watches on, seemingly uncaring as the boy cries himself into exhaustion. Jeremy and Mark glare up at her while James shuffles closer to the boy and monster. The silence is tense for a long while until finally guilmon once again speaks up.
"Lady ophanimon, what happened here? How did these hue-mons come to our world if they are not chosen?"
"... but they are chosen, child. Only the man was not, too old for a bond of partnership to flourish."
"But then where are their partners!? They should have been here to protect them and their loved ones! Aren't hue-mons precious!? Why were they abandoned!?"
The boys flinch back from the angry reptile, James silently holding an unconscious Mike as the lizard turns to face this respected figure with rage and pain in his eyes.
"Why was I the only one here!? I may not be weak but even I knew better then to face an army alone!"
Smoke and fire pour from the rookie's mouth as he speaks, tears in his voice. The angel continues watching on, impassive at the display.
"... Why are we here?"
The three children turn to look at Mark.
"What brought us here? And for what purpose?"
"... you are chosen..."
"Yeah... well, I refuse."
Finally the angel seems to startle, seeming almost hurt by the words.
"Whatever we were chosen for, whatever brought us here, it abandoned us. I'm not going to be used by anything that cares so little about me and my friends."
He stands, ignoring how the woman flinches at the sudden movement, and goes over to Mike, pulling his limb body into a fireman's carry and heading for the entrance.
"Jeremy, James, grab Henry. Let's get out of here before those freaks come back or something."
The two boys jump into action, following the eldest's instructions and quickly making their way through the rubble after him... guilmon gives his queen one last hateful look before turning away and following the group.
He will protect his hue-mon, even when no one else will help him.

There are 8 alters (individuals) in Michael's system:
Mike, who is one of the two primary co-hosts and the ANP.
Mama, a memory holder who is still convinced they're just a made up character, even if everyone else knows better.
Foxybro, a persecutor turned protector with issues around isolation and a desperate need for social connections.
Mikey, a trauma holder who you would expect to be a little based on how he acts, but no! He's an adult!
"Fredbear", a factive introject of the person you'd least expect.
Liam, the gatekeeper/caretaker/protector/factive introject of Mike's dad that's far more confident then the actual William.
Hue, the primary protector and fictive introject of Mike's imagined character for ennard's original design.
Bear mask, a persecutor/protector mash up that's only goal is to stay somewhere in the vicinity of springtrap/scraptrap/burntrap.

Originally, Mike and Jeremy were supposed to have Gregory through surrogacy. I Originally planned for them to spend some time around Mike's siblings and realize "oh... I kinda want kids." Then start up the process of having kids while mike was legally dead.
Then I remembered Mike was supposed to be a shapeshifter and also genderfluid/nonbinary/generally chill with his body so long as it wasn't a big change and thought "why can't mike just have the kid?", and thus, Gregory was born. Literally. I also realized it worked better that way because I could give Greg a reason to look like the crying child while also having "sunshine eyes."
Jeremy's eyes being that color was literally just me thinking it was cool by the way. I thought it fit his personality.
Gregory got almost all of his appearance from his mom, except two major factors. His eyes and his height. That boy is going to be a beanstalk.

The theme park mike makes out of spite towards the pizzaplex is called "Circus Hue's Marvelous Mechanical Carnival." But everyone just calls it Carnival Park. The name is supposed to elicit that old timey traveling Circus/road show vibe. He decided to make Hue the focus instead of Circus baby since Hue was Gregory's favorite of the Circus line up.

Elizabeth hates Jeremy.
For the longest time mike was her primary caregiver, feeding her, helping her get dressed in the morning, teaching her how to do things like ride a bike or skate, etc.
Mike was the person she would immediately go to if she was feeling sick or fell and got hurt. He was her first thought when it came time to show off something she'd been working on, even before showing William (though that was usually the end goal, she just got anxious if she didn't have some confirmation that it was as good as she thought.) He was who she went to when she needed anything.
As much as Elizabeth loves her father and younger brother, mike is practically the center of her universe. She wants to be around him. She wants to be doing things with him. She wants to talk to him. She wants to have his attention at all times.
Jeremy takes that attention away from her and she hates it. If she could throw him off a cliff without making Michael feel bad she'd do it in a heartbeat, no matter how much she would like him under different circumstances.

Michael was a very destructive child, but never in a mean way. Most of the time when he broke something or made a mess it was because he found it so physically offensive it NEEDED to be changed in some way.
One such example being the variety of his mother's perfumes. He once spent an entire day at age 5 pulling all the caps off her perfume bottles and mixing them all together so they'd all smell the same.
His father came home to a house that smelled like the fragrance kiosk in a mall and a 5 year old sobbing that his nose hurt, completely ignoring the massive rash covering both his arms and face. Meanwhile, toddler Elizabeth is happily playing not ten feet away, completely unbothered and his wife was out in the garden missing all of it.
William of course helped mike get the smell off himself but was left dumbfounded on what to do with the pitcher of perfume and dozens of broken perfume bottles. His wife was not happy when she came inside.
They ended up having to throw the entire mixture away because both mike and william were very allergic to something in it. They never found out what exactly.

Michael had no part in designing the daycare attendant, but that doesn't mean he hates the concept. He would like words with whoever decided they needed to share a body.

Mike hadn't celebrated any holidays since the bite. At least not until Gregory was born. Jeremy and Scott tried to get him to do something festive, but he never really got into the habit of it. The only holiday he technically "celebrated" was a singular Halloween where Jeremy convinced him to turn off the refrigerant distribution system in his endo and just let himself rot for a couple days. They ended up dousing him inside and out with air fresheners, and having a surprising amount of blood to clean up after, but it was a hit with the neighborhood.
For years after kids would practically beg in the weeks leading up to holloween for mike to make and wear more make up artist quality costumes, which he always politely refused, usually distracting them with facts about anything he'd seen them show an interest in.
Side note! Michael's memory is unfortunately amazing. He remembers far more then people expect possible. He remembers the exact dollar amount to make a single spring lock back in 1975. He remembers both his sister's first words ("You stupid!") And his brothers ("sorry" but pronounced like "saw-he"). He remembers the moment he realized Jeremy didn't remember him vividly, despite the next couple days being totally blank for him.
Back to the point, holidays are not a big deal for Michael, but the moment Gregory came around mike... barely changed at all. He unfortunately doesn't have many pleasant memories of holidays to draw from except whatever event was happening at the diner and whatever the Emily's invited them to. Really, he just let Scott and Jeremy take over for all events like that, which is probably for the best, given he always thought santa was a yellow bear and the golden jackellope that pulled his sleigh was more interesting.

I find it funny that making this au poly was a complete accident. Originally Scott was supposed to live for a bit as a robot, then choose to pass on, at which point mike would put him in a doll aiden didn't want and burn him.
That's not to say Scott would leave the story forever.

Most of the new circus baby crew mike makes is LGBT+. The peacock dancers are supposed to be gay, using the excuse of "most kids don't know what a peahen actually is" to keep any parents who notice from complaining. The ferret acrobats both have gender neutral names and are androgynous and when asked what genders they are workers are told to just shrug and say "they're ferrets." Hue is just flat out ftm trans, often even telling kids the pups around the restaurant all came from him.
It's never mentioned in the fic, but henry is totally oblivious to all of this, not noticing any of the tricks mike pulled to get the characters approved by afton robotics' board. Foxybro thought it was obvious but never really explained it to anyone except aiden and his friends, since he knew it would likely fly over the kid's head if he didn't. It was only after aiden knew hue was trans that he suggested the pups.

Michael's first and biggest special interest was actually Spring Bonnie. He absolutely adored the character, the animatronic and especially the actor. Spring Bonnie always had bigger roles during holidays then fredbear because Mike would engage with it so much, even as a toddler when they first opened up the restaurant and he couldn't even speak yet. Inevitably, all the other children in the room would follow his lead since William, and by extension spring Bonnie, allowed so much from him.
Growing up Mike's biggest goal was to one day get to be spring Bonnie, like his father. On multiple occasions he'd find some yellow article of clothing hanging on someone's clothesline and would take it home with him without William noticing. Luckily neither will nor mike ever got in trouble for this, but mike did develop a reputation.
For major Christians holidays (the ones Henry's wife, Hayley, celebrated) all of the aftons and Emily's would get hand made clothing for the occasion. William always got purple, but mike always got bright "golden" yellow because he refused to wear certain types of clothes unless they were "a good enough color". After a few years Hayley started having fun with it, always adding a little rabbit embroidery on the inside, except Easter.
Easter, Hayley never felt the need to add rabbits because mike would be so focused on spring Bonnie he'd never even notice. That is until easter 1982.
She had just been diagnosed with something that left her less then a year to live, so she spent that time making all of them fully themed outfits for the next decade of holidays. Mike only got to wear one of them before she got too sick to continue. The Jr Easter Bonnie tuxedo. It's still his favorite thing his aunt ever made for him, even if he can't wear it anymore.

One of the alters in Mike's system is basically a fictive of ennard. Fictive, not a factive. Mike projected so hard onto that mask in the sister location office that he basically made up a whole persona for it.
Ennard, in Mike's brain, became hue, the colorful contortionist clown, an unfinished interactive attraction mixed with a security bot. The idea being that he would twist and stumble and generally mess around in the restaurant while the kids threw "rainbow tomatoes" at him which would actually be magnetic ballpit balls and stick to this head to form rainbow crazy hair over the day.
After Mike inherited afton robotics he redesigned his made up character into hue the laughing hyena, a soft, rideable juggler. The animatronic became a large portion of the security force at the new circus baby's, having accurate bite force for the animal he's based off of and excellent senses to keep him alert and ready, even at night. Only Michael himself is allowed to do repairs on hue and hue sends any damage reports directly to mike.

Michael designed all 6 glamrocks (Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Monty, and Roxy) for henry as a gift.
He had specific plans for each of them:
Freddy ended up being closest to the original design. He was supposed to be representative of henry himself, a caring masculine adult figure, as well as the original fredbear, a doting and protective/giving friend. He was supposed to be the main face at parties, giving all the gifts and cake out to each kid, as well as have his own area called "fredbear's finders keepers" where prizes and trinkets would be scattered around a chaotic room and anything you find you could keep.
Bonnie was supposed to be a pair with Freddy, having the entire relationship blurred so no one could really tell if they were just best friends, or partners in multiple senses. He was also supposed to represent the William Michael remembered from his childhood, a safe space for kids who would be understanding of any behavior. He was supposed to have "Bonnie's bash and play", a room full of tall towers of foam blocks, paint filled water balloons and trampolines everywhere, allowing kids to just destroy the space and get out their feelings. Mike has no clue where they got bowling from Bonnie's design.
Chica was supposed to be in the kitchens actually, making the cakes and pizza, with a glass wall between the kids and her so they could all watch her work. She was also supposed to have a container inside her torso to catch anything she ate, keeping her insides clean so she could eat with the kids and get them to try new foods. Her area was supposed to be "Chica's cookout" where she taught kids how to make their own treats. It was almost supposed to be a subtle fire safety class.
Foxy and Roxy were supposed to be a duo. The sheriff and the bandit. Roxy was also supposed to be called Annie instead of Roxy. Their entire area would be called "the dog day's desert". It was supposed to have three sections, "the outlaw outpost", Foxy's hide out and camp where he'd tell cowboy stories, "the salon saloon" a snack bar where kids could get their hair styled and faces painted, and "high noon highway", a bumper car arena between the two where Foxy and Roxy would chase each other and cause small "crashes" before bailing out and heading back to their respective areas.
Monty was supposed to join the band, but not as a replacement bass player for Bonnie, but rather as a drummer. He wasn't supposed to have his own area, rather having free reign over the entire building. He was supposed to be by far the most friendly of the characters, giving kids rides on his back and letting them try his drums. He'd be in charge of most of the party games, letting kids throw things in his mouth, controlling the piñata, and even doing arts and crafts with the kids. He was also supposed to double as security, being much stronger and more durable then the others and even being the originator of the stomach hatch, where He'd have a padded area for a kid or two to hide during an emergency.
