im probably gonna drop / delete my yang (@wasmartyr) so !!  being on her blog / trying to plot and write her gives me more stress than happiness, so this is the decision i’ve come to.  also, i’m going to try to write & develop my blake more @unstrayed uwu ,, my latest series rewatch with zee has only fueled my love of her and affirmed that she’s the member of team rwby i want to focus on most.

this blog will no longer have active threads or asks.  if you desire to write with me, or if you want to keep following me, i recommend you follow me at my main blog @washuman and dm me there, i can give you details on what my blogs are and if i ever make new ones.  also feel free to ask me for my discord on that blog — if there’s a specific muse or plot or ship or smth you wanna write with me, by all means dm me and ask for my discord uwu

BLOG ROLL SO FAR.

like i said in my previous psa, you don’t have to follow them all.  just follow the muses you want to interact with!  i’ll get around to archiving this blog when everyone else’s junk is set up.

pyrrha and coco have solo blogs!  i started to separate the multi with these two because they were the most voted for muses on my poll.  feel free to send me asks on either one!  my coco blog is new so it’s empty, but on the other hand, my pyrrha blog has a lot of old junk and threads on there, so.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  anyways thanks for dealing with my bullshit everyone!

so there are going to be some big changes coming!

1. all of my characters are going to be split off into their own blogs when i return from vacation.

this is because i don’t like having mile high draft counts.  i enjoy making graphics for all of my characters, and having everything split off makes things easier for me.  you don’t have to follow all my blogs.  i understand interest may vary for my muses, so just follow the ones you want to, i won’t mind.

the problem is, i’m not going to be keeping every muse on tumblr.  some of my muses get more attention than others, which is okay.  but other muses i have picked up for the sake of one or two people, and those ( for example, my summer rose ) may not get their own blogs.  here is an interest poll to gauge which muses i should keep on tumblr and which ones will just resign to discord.  characters like blake, weiss, ilia, cinder, sienna, and emerald have not been included in this poll because i already have blogs made for them.

i will alert you all HERE, on remnesque, when i make new blogs, so that you can keep up with them and have the urls for the new blogs when i post them on the dash.

2. i’m changing my alias again.

i understand some of you are just now getting used to hal, but i ended up not really liking that name for myself, and i don’t use that name anymore.  i’m currently going by my birth name irl until i’m able to think of something better.  on top of that, i’ve decided i’d like to keep my irl name separate from my alias.

i’m going to go by red from now on!  yes, it’s kind of a throwback to blue, which i used to go by but am no longer comfortable with for personal reasons.  feel free to call me any nicknames relating to red that you can think of, i don’t mind :)

in her right hand, a book. in her left, strands of red hair running between her fingers like sand. her knuckles graze the gladiator's jaw and she feels pyrrha stir in her lap. she lowers her book, deftly flipping a bookmark between the pages to keep her pace. "i didn't mean to wake you." winter murmurs, fingertips extending across pyrrha's neck and thumb grazing her lip. "did you have a restful nap?"

          pyrrha’s barely functional.  eyes still take their time to flutter open completely, though her figure is shifting against the legs she’d fallen asleep upon.  the redhead groans into a yawn, stretching limbs outward in the sheets she half - embedded herself in before her nap.  flipping her body over, she crawls up the bed to rest heavy head on winter’s chest.  pyrrha sighs into the warm embrace, and sleep almost coaxes her back in.  however, winter asking her a question causes her to perk up.  she peeks out from her eyelids, looking at her lover directly in front of her, and she blinks a few times before focusing on the sight of her.  

         “ mm, yes, i did, ”  she notes.  “ i sleep easier beside you. ”  thoughtlessly, nikos has leaned up to press soft kisses against the commander’s jawline, until her hand suddenly touches the spine of a hardback book.  “ oh no, did i interrupt your book?  i’m sorry! ”  she’s quick to sit up now, get out of winter’s way entirely and retreat to her side of the bed.  all of a sudden, her guilt has returned to her ( as it always does ), and her nerves spike mildly.  “ you know you don’t have to pay me any mind.  i still need time to wake up completely— ”  she yawns again, and covers her mouth while doing so.  warrior leans over to peck winter’s cheek with a dreamy exhale.  “ go ahead and read, baby.  i don’t want to be in your way. ”

baby blues , normally reflecting strength now dull with dread. with fear. weiss should’ve known vernal would leave eventually , like most good things do , but why did it have to be now ? weiss schnee , the girl so used to obtaining anything she desires , though now it seems what she wants the most is just out of reach. funny. ❛ y - you don ‘ t have to leave , you know — !! you . . . have a place here with us. with me. ❜

          “ don’t do this. ”  her voice is firm, however, tears stinging her eyes defy her verbal wishes.  “ that’d be like — like me asking you to leave your team — it isn’t fair, weiss, and you know it! ”  the brunette’s distress overtakes her, and she turns to face weiss fully despite not wanting to do so.  the more i look at her the more i’ll want to stay.  torn between her origins and her future, between those who made her who she is and the one who loves her for who she is.  no, fuck, shit.  she can’t refrain from comforting that shaking voice, and those big doe eyes.  vernal’s quick to run back to her across the gravel path, wrap her arms around her, hold weiss’s head to her chest.  the false maiden is like a wild animal, being re - released into the wild, but unable to part from the connections she’d made.  she’s suffering for it, her stupidity, her feelings for a girl far out of her league.  

         “ weiss … ”  i love you.  no, that’s stupid, don’t say that.  make it easy for her to hate you.  “ i know i’ll never mean as much to you as your team does. ”  she says it matter of factly, so that her lover cannot argue, and her voice is colder than weiss’s typical exterior.  “ it would be much easier if you forgot about me, i promise you— ”  she starts, parting slightly from the embrace to cup ice - knight’s cheek and look in her eyes.  ah, but vernal’s own baby blues are vulnerable, and a lump of emotion forms in her throat like a rock.  trembling fingertips brush schnee’s bangs from her eyes, and back behind her ear.  “ i don’t belong here, babygirl.  with your team, ozpin— i don’t belong with you. ”  she says it through the tears nearly blinding her, shaking her head and allowing sobs to come up.  no matter how she tries to swallow them down, they persist, and she’s back to holding weiss against her chest, whole body damn convulsing.  

        “ gods damn it— ”  she leans in, thumbing weiss’s chin and lifting it to meet her own visage.  spring lips meet winter in an equinox kiss, april rain fluttering down vernal’s cheeks from her tear ducts as she kisses her with the ferocity of an earth born again.  “ weiss, i swear to god, i— fuck.  fuck.  i can’t stay with you.  i can’t, baby. ”  raven looks impatient, annoyed across the way, still waiting to greet her thought - to - be - lost soldier, and vernal has half a mind to shoot her a death glare.  her eyes fall back to her lover.  vernal’s voice cracks amidst her flower - fragile heartbreak.  “ you deserve the whole gods damned world.  don’t you dare let anyone give you less. ”  and like that, she’s gone as quickly as she’d come, turned away and running into the wilderness and not looking back.
