Hi! My name’s Irena or just Rena and this is obviously my first post here one tumblr. I was never a tumblr kid growing up, but I did always enjoy a good haikyuu or mha fanfic from here every now and again.

Before anything I’m an artist, I like to make art mostly of my own original characters, but I’d really like to start making fan art like I used to when I was younger. I think I wanna use this platform as a way to casually put my work out there but also as something more personal to me than my instagram with these kinds of blog posts.

I wouldn’t say I associate with any fandoms at the minute but I’d love to meet some people who like the same media as I do. I enjoy Haikyuu, mha, ninjago, teen titans, hermitcraft, pokémon, slashers, Stardew valley, James Cameron’s avatar, miraculous, lost boys, karate kid, project sekai, cookie run and epic the musical.

I’m currently working on a few different stories, that I’m hoping to set in the same universe, but I have a tendency to come up with characters and scenarios before I flesh out the story and world building of my works. That’s what I’m working on now, fleshing out the world of my main story ‘Our years’ it’s about a group of university students who find these magical stones, that are the souls of the old gods of the world they live in. The cast then gain powers from these stones but at the same time unknowingly unleash a great evil that threatens to destroy their world if the main gang can’t control their new powers and banish them again.

I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock art wise recently so I don’t have a lot of recent work I can share with you all, so bellow I have my newest piece. It’s a design ref for the prologue design of Cain, the main character of my prequel story to our years ‘the way back home’ it’s the story I’ve been working on for the longest. It started off as an irl role play between my cousin and I when I was around 9/10 and developed from there, originally starting as a self insert aphmau fan fiction of sorts.

This has probably gone on too long now with me just rambling to you, I’ll hopefully be able to share more of my art with you and maybe even make friends soon. Until the next time you hear from me <3
